very informative and great presentation. use gloves, mask and apron when checking batteries as it has acid in them and sometimes the caps spit when opened.
Nice overview but to be a little nit picky-checking the counterweight seems a little pointless as those things weigh about 4,000 pounds, it seems highly unlikely anything will happen to it, unless the lift was dropped off the end of a loading dock or something.
the solution would be at resting times upon a heavy deuty work lift the batery case in a safe envierment (free of igintions) in order for the hydrogen to disperse. this must be done to electrical forkilfts with no ventilation from the batery case. witch is the case in the example.
the water from the bateries must cover the group inside. during function hydrogen is prduced by the batery and the water will evaporate. you must cheack the water levels evryday. and because your running an electrical forklift you must not aproach sparks or any ignition source. if any case of batery blow out you will be seriously hurt by the explosion that will propell your body (head) towards the protection over your head.... even with a seat belt on... ot may be fatal.
1:40 also we are gonna look at the ... Leaf Cylinder?? surely that's not what was said but I've listened to it so many times but I still don't know what was said
In general nobody out there bothers with these checks... just when it needs refuelling or just shutting the gas bottle off at the end of day (if that even)
I commend this guy, although he has a slight issue with his English, he did well with this video. thank you.
To much talk about his English. Focus on why you are here. He did a good job at it. Praise that.

Better video presentation given than the BS training I did in class with an experience Australian where I failed the assessment!
