I have a mizuno omoi, and it's got to be the most underrated putter on earth.
So do I, omoi Type 1. It's a $300 Scotty Cameron with a slightly softer feel. Incredible putter.
Same. Fantastic putter.
My son has one, it’s fantastic. Unfortunately he’s lefty and I’m not.
@mikeabel7577 i have the type 6 with the blue head. I adore mine.
Don’t tell people how good the Mizuno putters are!!!! I’m scared the price is gonna go up 😂
i do watch this with a smile and a dose of "so what" i am afraid, in a lab a putter maybe great but if you cant read the green, align and roll it at the right pace doesn't matter what putter you use - these measure seem so small and i am sure mean something on a flat indoor surface but given a bumpy 7.5 stimp green mean very little....
Have a Bettinardi BB1 DASS 3 slot prototype from 2003 one of only 10 made, and it is the sweetest blade I've ever used.
Where's the LAB link.1 ? 😊
Yeah I guess they wanted it to be a fair fight amongst the other blades haha
@@Iamwrongbutthe entire test is ridiculous, cause what works for one person doesn’t always translate to others. I e tried every lab putters, spider, various mallets, etc. I need a slant neck blade. Even a blade with the typical plumbers neck effects my putting. But the trusty slant neck Newport/Anser head is what works best for me. Lucky for me that also translates into the nicest putters on the market imo.
Bettinardi BB1/ BB8 are the best blade lineups. Hands down
I was fitted for my putter. Going in, I had a preset notion of what I thought I wanted. Turns out I did not like the feel of my first or second choice. Ended up with Mizuno omoi type 2 which I didnt even know existed.
I think the test for new tech in putters would be to test them against a baseline. In the case of a blade putter, I expect the baseline would be an Acushnet/Titelist Bullseye blade putter. Coincidentally, that’s what I’ve used for every round for decades. If a new putter can’t demonstrate a marked improvement over that why is it worth hundreds of dollars? I’m not against new tech, I just need to justify my spend.
Talk about rolling the rock, that was a fantastically expert demonstration!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Totally agree on the pxg putter grip. I liked it so much i ordered separately to put on my betti
For a blade test - the Wilson Staff Model 8802 please. Doesn’t get much ‘bladier’ than that and would make for an interesting comparison.
I use a armlock 3D Cobra blade, also a SC Newport 2, the Kirkland KS1 is also amazing quality, love the counterbalance weight in the grip
Scotty Select Newport 2018 model to AI One #1 was a good switch for me this season
Love to see Odyssey Ai Rossie vs Bettinardi Studio Stock 16 together in a video. I'm looking at those. I use an Odyssey White Hot #5 with the stroke lab shaft. I really like it, but those other two are also super nice feeling in the golf shop.
I hope there is going to be a SEEMORE M7X putter in there too. as I have been fitted with one. I am more consistent with it at 15ft to 3ft. i look at the numbers rather what it looks like. my last putter was a 14 year old mullet. and now im going to be using a SEEMORE M7X blade. PLEASE REVIEW THE SEEMORE M7X 8))
Been waiting for this video to come out. Thanks for putting this together!
Which of the PXG grips is on the Brandon putter??
We all get a bit “Pokey” from time to time. 😂
what was the toe hang on each putter?
Toulon Madison is supreme. I'll die on that hill
Bettinardi QB6 and QB8 please
not including a ping PLD anser makes one question this entire test.
it still says txg on the front door
Lab Link 1?
Does he ever miss?
Embrace putters!
These are ping “answer” style putters, I consider blades to be like a bullseye, Wilson 8802
LAB Link
No Cobra?
No Link 1 and PING Dale Anser is a sin
Those are not blades, the Wilson 8802 was a blade - I used a Yonex version of it for 20 years - absolutely no tech in the old Wilson, just a lump of shiny metal
I have just invested in a new putter - first new putter in 10 years - Bettinardi Queen Bee 6, basically a fat anser style putter, so not in the market for a new putter, but the Brandon is beautiful and but for my new Bettinardi would be very tempting
