God the Father gave authority to Ezekiel to give life to the dried bones so to Jesus Christ God the Son gave authority to His disciples to heal people, to rise them from the dead,... The priest acts in the persona of Jesus Christ as the head of the church in the breaking of the bread so what the priest says is. Why are we surprised by that? There is also more to it as a follower and disciple of Jesus Christ, the priest in that ritual is unified with Christ through faith and brings at the same time the whole church in unity with Christ through faith. So, by eating the bread and drinking the wine consecrated by the priest, we truly consume the bread of life all that Jesus is and conforming ourselves to Him until His Second Coming to be transformed body, soul, and spirit. Believe and do not be unbelievers for Jesus himself said about people of little faith! “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Indeed, nothing will be impossible, not for the priest that is and not even for you. Isn't WONDERFUL to have a Creator, a God, and Father who loves us that much?
