I was at this gig. I don't remember much about it but I do remember trying to get backstage. They are one of the most underrated bands of all time. They were geniuses. If Fugazi do ever return to the fray it will be a miracle and much needed in these crazy uncertain times. Although the Messthetics are pretty damn good as well.
Nicholas Jacques they are not underrated at all they are considered the most important independent band of all times and this also for consistency, they could be like Pearl Jam or others and play in stadiums but they have never abandoned their principles of self-production but are also super respected for this

I saw them five times in Italy, between 1990 and 1999, too bad I missed them playing tracks from The Argument. Had the chance to exchange few words with Ian after an intimate show of the Evens in Milan in 2005, he and Amy were so nice to spend time with the fans after the show. Great musicians, great people. Check out the Messthetics these days.
