Francois Rodgers re-elected as DA provincial leader in KwaZulu-Natal

The re-elected provincial leader of the Democratic Alliance in KwaZulu-Natal, Francois Rodgers says he plans to grow the support base of the party in townships and rural areas. Rodgers was in a tight contest for the leadership position with Bongumusa Nhlabathi, the chief whip of the DA in the Msunduzi municipality which sits in the capital Pietermaritzburg. Meanwhile, Dean Macpherson was re-elected as provincial chairperson. He was up against party veteran Dianne Kohler-Barnard. A new addition to the leadership group is Sithembiso Ngema who was elected as provincial deputy leader.
