true and not true if it’s windy and you hide in a bush and stay really still you‘ll probably look like an error instead of if you’d move a bit with the vegetation
Excellent coverage on Kreuzotter. I’ve been waiting for someone to do a thorough test and review like this. I would love to see you do more videos like this on different patterns; especially with the testing with night vision devices.
At 3:33 I had not considered before, how a hat might compromise your camouflage. It was nice to see how the camouflage compares to multicam and flecktarn at night but it would also nice to see the comparisons in daylight. Thanks for the video.
Tiger stripe is one of the camouflage types that I like. There were three types of tiger stripe uniforms used in Vietnam. A dark tiger stripe, a light tiger stripe and Asian tiger stripe. The light tiger stripe had portions of light brown color. The Asian tiger stripe had some stripes of yellow and the green was more green that the other two types of tiger stripe. I have a full set of the dark tiger and one set of the light tiger. The Asian tiger looks odd with the yellow colored stripes.
As you have demonstrated Tiger Stripe works extremely well in lush dark environments. For Us in the States think the Pacific Northwest such as Washington and Oregon
I just randomly got recommended your video. As a huge fan of Tiger Stripe pattern, this new design warms my heart. And to be honest there was a couple times it took me a second or two to find you. I like this redesigned pattern. I will have to buy myself a set.
Very nice camo: a mix of the tiger stripes for the pattern, and the concamo for the colors. Great idea, very effective. I went to their website, they don't have a lot of choice of apparel (no t-shirt?), and the few of it is out of stock (cap, booni hat). I am sure their camo will become famous.
I was quite suprised that you review this airsofter pattern, but overall very good video as always. my favorite camouflage is the atacs family, atacs-fg, and atacs-ix especially
The problem is the high amount of dark brown colors which contrasts alot with fresh green colors in spring and summer especially when combined with high lightning such as sunlight or filtered sunlight. This the exact same problem that dutch dpm has its a great camo for overcast days but once sunlight sets in you can clearly see everything this is why the old 1970 light green british dpm or tropical dpm is better i prefer german splitter or splinter or arid woodland those excel in high lightning On the other hand british MPT or HDT multicam is too light for autumn, winter and too bright when exposed to sunlight. The color pallette sucks too much in green enviroments
Thanks for the video and information. I’ve always wanted to see a version of Tiger Stripe and M81 Woodland where the black was replaced with more shades of brown instead. The camo you just reviewed seems to work great, thanks!
What a cool Camo! My most favorite "Civilian" Camo next to Concamo! And just thinking it comes from an Airsoft Person, not a state funded military "Company" or such!
Its good , but what give you away the most is i know that most camo is either to light or to dark. Im trying to acquire some TrueTimber Strata camo i heard it works really well .
The color pallette is great it reminds me of dutch DPM but also japanese woodland camo / grassland camo it somwhere in between with tiger stripe pattern
I was sceptical of kreuzotter but it looks surprisingly effective + I like its aesthetics! The only thing withholding me from buying it is the price and quality. I've heard the quality control is bad and the material not ideal for comfort.. But I hope this isn't true! Anyways your random commands to subscribe definitely worked on me, congrats :p
If you can get passed the prequrment issue you should do a test on the Canadian CADPAT camouflage, I think it would be an interesting video, also to test its effectiveness in a European country. Great vid
Over here in America we have Mossy Oak camo. It's better than any military camo and cheaper. It's mass produced. I've had people walk right by me and didn't see me.
Personally my favorites are german SS dot camo. But my modern favorites are arid woodland, german splinter or splitter, FG Tacs(or aug the geen i meant.) Italian vegetato. This new tiger stripe is definitely up there. Vegetato works in most enviroment and still excels in forests in all seasons. Arid woodland and german splinter works magnificent on forest floors and enviroments with high lighnting. The green FG is superior on grasslands
Rippe thanks great video 🙂 greetings from cz.I love Flectarn, cz vz.95, MTP,DPM, OCP, some digital zifra in "young spring".. 🙂 concamo is too very good but very expensive..
So even though it does not use the nir dyes that military camos use, there is no difference? What advantages would a nir treated uniform have over this because from the video i dont see a difference. Thankyou
There are a number of alpine climate zones in the USA where this might work like the Rockies or the Front Range. Maybe in the Pacific Northwest as well, especially during summer when things dry out a bit, although the more overcast winters would probably help the darker colors not stand out so much.
I’ll take my chances with my FLIR Blocking, Navy Seal made ghillie suit, with added local foliage. But good luck, just the same. No man made suit can stand alone without added local materials. And I saw your suit every time because your head & shoulders pattern gave you away.

This video shows how important, after camouflage, the need is to be still. The second movement is registered, it’s game over with any camouflage.
true and not true
if it’s windy and you hide in a bush and stay really still
you‘ll probably look like an error
instead of if you’d move a bit with the vegetation
Here we see how it works on short distances, and I'm really impressed.
Imagine how good it will work on longer distances.
This is truly well made camouflage. It reacts to shadows and lights very well.

Man Germany really has some beautiful forests
That's exactly what I was thinking...

I like this vid compared to lots of other camo effectiveness videos. He shows the camo usefulness without hiding 90% of his body
As you have demonstrated Tiger Stripe works extremely well in lush dark environments. For Us in the States think the Pacific Northwest such as Washington and Oregon
There are also some decent alpine zones in the US where this could work. The Sierras and the Rockies would probably be good choices.

Fantastic camouflage! I'd say it's in the top 3 for me for spring/summer: Pencott Wildwood, Phantomleaf ZA3, Kreuzotter.
Best wishes from Poland!
What a cool Camo! My most favorite "Civilian" Camo next to Concamo!
And just thinking it comes from an Airsoft Person, not a state funded military "Company" or such!
Big fan of the Swedish M90 pattern with the sharp angles, Pencott range of camo, ATACS camo and also the Kryptek range of camouflage
Very good and after a few washes it will be even better
My favorite camouflage and best of all are the Phantomleaf WASP II pattern. Z3A, Z2 and Z4
Best tigerstripe demonstration ive seen
Its good , but what give you away the most is i know that most camo is either to light or to dark. Im trying to acquire some TrueTimber Strata camo i heard it works really well .
This video was well done. I wish more camo effectiveness videos used your technique instead of standing/crouching behind thick vegetation.
yeah i hate when people do camoflage videos and just lay behind vegetation so thick that it wouldn't mater what they wore
eine sehr gute tarnung, danke für dieses video.

thats a great reveiw of that camo, it works well. i use dpm myself and happy with it.

From a distance it almost looks like Pencott Wildwood despite being a completely different pattern.
Over here in America we have Mossy Oak camo. It's better than any military camo and cheaper. It's mass produced. I've had people walk right by me and didn't see me.

Good video. Very usable for hunting applications.

It reminds me the Greek Lizard camo but as you said more modern
for me, the best european forest camo is German Flecktarn - Russian Partizan - French CCE (woodland)
as always, most camo is good on near field, but all to dark on longer ranges
Dayum, thats impressive. Works really well in European forests. Not so sure about over here in the states, but might be worth checking out.

Mindblowing
I want this camo
Very effective.
Guter Mann
Wie sind die Sachen qualitativ? Und für welche Temperaturen sind die so gedacht?
It's like a more effective tiger stripe.
Kreuzotter Camouflage - Tigerstripe but in Rhodesian
Camo face, and hands or they give away. Like Tiger Stripes, used for hunting in woods of Indiana.
It look like dpm and tiger treep mix

Is this made in Germany? Austria? Switzerland? Eastern Europe?
It is developed by an Austrian airsoft player. But I do not know where it is printed and made.
