Nixon was not even a dishonorable mention, but the guy who lasted 1 month was??
Nixon was an example of the cover-up often being worse than the crime.
Forget Watergate. He should have been mentioned for his phony, racist "war on drugs" that was little more than trying to get the police to harass urban dwellers, whom he figured were Democrats and brown people, both of whom he hated.
A Democrat got us into Vietnam. A Democrat expanded the war in Vietnam to the tune of 58,000 American soldiers killed. A Republican (Nixon) got us out of Vietnam.
Nixon was actually a good President, who made a serious error, and who then covered it up. Back in those days, the Republicans recognized that what Nixon did was beyond acceptable, and Nixon was forced to retire. Nixon was pardoned, and then lived up to his part of the bargain, and vanished for the remainder of his life, and was never seen again in the limelight.
Right you really can’t judge Harrison but Nixon was one of the most corrupt presidents of all time
I think the 6/30 SCOTUS ruling just bumped Donald a few pegs higher up on this list....
Andrew Johnson was awful. He went back on everything Lincoln tried to accomplish, was a loud and belligerent racist, and tried to bully Congress into stopping Reconstruction.
It's Jackson, not Johnson .... read a $20 bill
@@JordanGurney there are two Andrew presidents. Did you not know that? Andrew Jackson was 7th. Andrew Johnson was 17th. Johnson was a horrible president and a worse human being. Both men happened to also be from Tenneessee oddly enough.

@@adrienaugustin6520 because he get stupids people to believe in all those lies, and that very dangerous. And he his so ignorant.
Don't worry. Over time he will be ranked by historians as #1. Wait until all the trials, corruption of he himself and the whole crowd around him is finally adjudicated, He will go down as #1. George W. Bush will be extremely appreciative that Don the Con became president.
You're too emotional and you don't know history if you really feel that way. Jimmy Carter is the worst President of the last 100 years.
Not even trying to be biased (even though im conservative) but he didn't actually do that bad in office compared to some others on this list, made some good things, some bad things, but I would probably prefer a less crazy guy in office, biden or trump
I can't believe Woody W didn't make the bottom 10. He singlehandedly brought segregation to Federal employment, led the US into WWI, and his authoritarian "bigașș government yeeeeeah" stance definitely sends him to the depths.
And endorsed the catalyst for the 2nd generation of the KKK.
He's also the reason for constant US interventionism 😭
Not to mention he was a proponent of the Lost Cause Theory, something that is still a problem today
Women got the right to vote under his presidency. federal reserve system, antitrust, FTC,WWI intervention, Fourteen Points, LoN, and Treaty of Versailles. Yeah he's not on the list.
@@jcehlert he initially didn’t want to grant women the right to vote. He got forced into it basically. He wasn’t a good POTUS
I'll never understand how there has never been minimum standards for the highest office in the land, other than age and citizenship. Any job above minimum wage requires experience.
A POTUS should have to pass IQ and citizenship tests. Have physical and psychological evaluations.A college degree and/or military experience. Pass a background check.
Provide ten years of tax returns. At least three years serving in government. This would have eliminated many of these disasters.
Agree! A guy that has. Been impeached twice A million indictments convicted of rape sold nuclear documents to our enemies attacked the us capital and wants to hang every one in government and military. Wants to stop programs for us and have all money go to him? Amazing!Oh yeah, Etc, Etc, Etc!

You can't really rank William Henry Harrison because he was only in office for a month
He did the least amount of damage out of the 45 presidents cause he died just months after taking office.
I learned about him mostly from the Simpsons
He had the longest speech ever in history 😅😅😅
He reported for his first-days work as dead.
William Henry Harrison, known as Bill Hank to his friends, walked to his inauguration rather than taking the Presidential limo and caught pneumonia and died without ever really being President.

I would added Woodrow Wilson to the list. He was racist who reversed the civil rights laws, in particular relating to civil service.
His 14 points were a failure, as was his League of Nations, which he could never got Congress to approve our membership.
The post war negotiations that imposed such burdensome sanctions on Germany helped bring about Hitler.
The borders that were negotiated in both the Middle East and Africa helped bring about continual instability in the region.

I find it weird that Zachary Taylor was even on the list considering how short his presidency was. I mean, he wasn't great, but I feel like we should only be ranking presidents who served more of their terms.
Just be happy poor Garfield and #9 weren't included. I don't even know how you can rank presidents who were in office so briefly.
WM is a biased liberal channel.
Simply those presidents, some of whom where REALLY killed, were hated by the Cabal. Probably the channel owner is on that side.
It’s a shame Wilson ain’t on the list. Man segregated the government. He started income tax and the federal reserve (which yay or nay depending on you). He used his ‘historian’ credentials to advocate the ‘Lost Cause’ mentality about the civil war, going as far to show the film “Birth of a Nation” at the White House and letting it quote him. He got us involved in WWI and started modern American interventionism. He spent the entirety of the treaty talks pushing for the creation of the ‘League of Nations’, the predecessor of the United Nations, then he couldn’t even convince Congress to join the damn thing, dooming it to failure. Did women get the right to vote under him? Yes. Was he basically forced into that? Also yes. By his last year in office, he had a debilitating stroke. Only his wife, Edith, and his doctor were allowed into his room. This has led to some historians wondering how debilitating the stroke was and questioning if Wilson was really signing bills at this time or if Edith was just taking them into the room and signing them herself. This has led some people to call Edith the first woman president. Hey, cool for Edith, but terrifying for the country at large.
I think this ranking is quite unfair to two presidents: William Henry Harrison was only in office for a month before he passed away, he'd probably have done just fine as president.
And Chester A. Arthur? Well, he was a good-intentioned, fine man who did his best on the job. He mad eno major mistakes, had no major faults as president and reformed the civil service. Why is he even in the mentions? The man was at worst an average president.
I watched another video, Woodrow Wilson signed federal taxation into law called revenue act of 1913 . He Enslaved Americans into tax debt after Americans fighting for freedom from over taxation. Happy 4th of July and enjoy those fireworks 🎆 that were taxed. 😅
Andrew Jackson because the trail of tears
Not to mention its quite hypocritical for him to be on the most popular ATM denomination when he was by far the most ANTI-federal gov't bank President possible!
@@JohnSmith-zw8vpCome for the apple pie and baseball but stay for the contradictions, am I right? lol
Very true he really needs to be removed from the 20 dollar bill.
Also don't forget that his economic policies led to the Panic of 1837 and he also led us to the Nullification Crisis.
He had some pros, too, tho.
You can’t criticize one president for opposing the compromise of 1850 (2:25) while criticizing the other for supporting the compromise of 1850 (4:56). It needs to be one of the other! I just don’t think that’s a great argument when you’re criticizing two different presidents for being on opposite sides of the same issue.
Zachary Taylor was only POTUS for a year and a half, so his presidency was arguably too brief to judge...

You ever hear of a personality cult? Because THAT's why. Trump's MAGA fanbase is delusional beyond words.
As a few have mentioned him already, I personally think that Woodrow Wilson should've been #1, because while Buchannan is perfectly understandable, I think that the President who was directly responsible for one of the leading causes of the rise of Nazism and the second World War, the draconian "Treaty" of Versailles, should've and would've been the main reason to overthrow Buchannan. There's a clear and obvious difference between a Civil War and a World War, and it's no surprise at all we had President's that, willingly or unknowingly, influenced and/or caused two of the most brutal wars in history.
Wilson ruined this free country with his Federal Reserve Act and the 16th Amendment.
By today’s standards Bill Clinton is the only one l know that left us a balance budget 😮.
Just FYI, WW was not in favor of Versailles as he thought it was too punitive. Clemenceau was the one who really pushed for it, which is kind of understandable since the war turned France into one gigantic bloody battlefield.
@@edfelstein3891Which is more understandable actually, considering how excessively harsh and vindictive France can be, and that the French were likely the reason for Germany's devastatingly crippling punishments in terms of military strength, it makes sense that the man who wanted that to happen is the one who should be punished the most. Shamefully karmic is that said punishment was the unfortunate slaughter of and complete military conquest of France by the very place they sought to never be able to do such a thing ever again.
Anyone else can feel free to point out or correct anything that is inaccurate or false in this comment.

If Nixon's paranoia hadn't lead to the Watergate breakin and the disasterous coverup, he would probaby be considered a near great President.

Even aside from the fact that Barack Obama was an illegitimate candidate for the presidency (he was born in Kenya, not America) and the fact that he had many openly communist connections throughout his life, he lied about Americans being able to keep their current healthcare programs and then pushed his horrible Obamacare program on the country, he lied about making immigrants go through the immigration process the right way and then compromised with illegal immigrants through DACA, DAPA, etc. (slightly unrelated, but he also built the cages at the southern border), he lied about his support for traditional marriage and then forced all states in the union to recognize homosexual marriages (which, like it or not, the Constitution does not provide for), he committed outrageous levels of executive overreach, he is largely responsible for stirring up much of the racial conflict that we see around us today, he raised taxes, and he launched a campaign of drone strikes on the Middle East that had little to no regard for human life, rarely adhered to the near certainty principle, and as a result ended up being responsible for many acts of state terrorism and subsequent global outrage at such heinous acts. How do you guys define being worst?
A suggestion could be: set examples, that were, out of different reasons, rejected be the successors (in some cases even used as examples as not to do things). And, yes, that applies for all the names on that list.
With regard to some pre- and post-civil or other war presidencies, that later rejected path was compromise (and therefore complicity) that did not stop anything.
With regard to some other presidencies those mistakes are usually ill advised policies with highly negative and costly results for all. Some belong there because they mistook popularity for wisdom, some because the exchanged to many favors with friends and others for not listening to people who knew better. Combined or alone those acts reduced trust in the political or judicial system in- and outside the US.

The fact that Woodrow Wilson isn’t on the list let alone the fact that Trump and Bush are above him horrifies me. Look into the history, he was way worse.
Thank For the Video and Happy President Day 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🦅🌟🥇🏆
Calvin coolidge is a very underrated president
And a shit one.
He wasn’t the worst person outside of the office, but hardly a good President.
@@stephaniebarnes82390 Not even!
@@Jon_Nadeau_ obviously you didn't do your research. Presidents back in the 1800s into 1900s were the worst.
He’s been often overlooked but that suits the style in how he governed (silent Cal).
Wow, this is inviting a firestorm. Personally, I would have made the 21st century ineligible for this list because recent politics is a passionate topic that is the clashing of deeply-held beliefs.
Well, Watch Mojo, I hit the thumbs-up but it doesn't SAY I hit it, so...👍here you go!
The metrics of what makes a bad president are very subjective as we can have very different moral worldviews. However, this list perplexes me as it doesn't seem to be internally all that consistent with its own moral worldview. It seems that racism and slavery are the ultimate evil for the folks making this list and, while I wouldn't put that as the pinnacle of evil in my list, I can certainly sympathize with that perspective. However, how on earth does maybe the most racist president since the Civil War, Woodrow Wilson not even warrant a dishonorable mention in that case? I mean Coolidge isn't anywhere near the top of my list, but Wilson should be lower than him I would think!
Wilson was very possibly our worst president, on a number of fronts. But as one of the founders of modern progressivism, he largely gets a pass from historians.
@@benwolk2028 not a modern progressive. At the time, progressive. But not modern today.
@@NickYankee He certainly laid the foundation for modern progressivism, both in his academic and in his political careers, in each of which he demonstrated the authoritarian and identitarian tendencies so strong in the left today.
@@benwolk2028 And there it is. The foundation of modern progressivism isn't authortarian. That's absurd. And identitarian? What are you even talking about?
Authoritarianism is a key characteristic within the modern conservative movement in America. Election denialism, loyalty pledges, cult like worship of strong authoritarian leader. Also, identitarianism is alt right. The white conservative young men marching with tiki torches.
You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.
@@NickYankee One need only look at the left's response to Covid -- in the U.S., in Canada, in the UK, in Australia -- as a disturbing example of its authoritarianism. Draconian and arbitrary lockdowns, unsupported by science; business closures (but only select businesses); pastors arrested; the list could go on. Further examples would include the left's absolute obsession with shutting down dissenting voices in popular culture.
There is identitarianism on the alt right, yes, but the alt right isn't nearly as large as we're led to believe. Conversely, identity politics could be said to form the very basis of modern leftism and the Democratic Party, who are neurotically preoccupied with race, gender, ethnicity and orientation.
You ignored the fact that Buchanan, though he had an estate in Pennsylvania, owned at least two plantations in Virginia.
Trump specifically said to remain peaceful on Jan. 6th. He’s also having the full weight of the law used against him politically and the American people have spoken. Trump will go down as one of the best presidents in history if he wins again.
“We’re gonna fight like hell” is what he said before the insurrection. He said to be peaceful after the insurrection.
@@ThatColinhe also asked for it to be peaceful from the beginning. Fight like hell doesn’t mean physically fight always and the only person who dies that day was a Trump supporter. It doesn’t even matter. Trump is one of the best presidents we’ve ever had and for him to be even on this list is sad and shows how little research this channel does.
Going by Trumps first term, he was an average President.
@@woll2633 He knew exactly who he was provoking. Who the hell are you kidding? He still isn't apologetic about any of it.
When South Vietnam was on the brink of signing the Paris Peace Accord of 1968, which would have ended the Vietnam war, Nixon let it be known to the South Vietnamese government that under his administration they would get a better deal from him than what Johnson had negotiated, and that they should therefore reject the agreement, which they ultimately did. Nixon went behind his own presidents back to undermine his peace efforts just so he could win an election. He sacrificed the lives of ten's of thousands of American servicemen, and women, all for the love of power. How many lives could have been saved, on both sides, had he did the right thing and supported the government's efforts to end the war in Vietnam and bring the troops home? It truly says a lot about the state of the United States that when compiling a list of the worst presidents in the nations history that Richard M. Nixon doesn't even make the cut.
The only President of the last 100 years that should be bottom 10 is Jimmy Carter.
@@MasonGrant0704 : Wow that's a bold statement to make. I would just love to know your reasoning behind it especially in light of the fact that Trump has just been found guilty on 34 felony counts of fraud, the first president, or even former president, to be convicted in a civil court - And you think Carter was worse than him? Explain please
Hahahaha. No Carter? No Biden? Just retitle this as a list made by liberals. Hahahaha.
It's amusing to see the differences in "worsts" lists depending on the creators politics.
Polarization "2024"
Why couldn’t Andrew Jackson be number one on this list? He was racist to Native American tribes, particularly the Cherokee.
Good
Sad part is, so was Lincoln and many other Presidents.
@@dalebirkenstock2580I’m pretty sure Lincoln wouldn’t have abolished slavery if he was racist
@@vitamindeeznutz4102 Lincoln personally ordered the execution of several Natives. Unfortunate, history is not black and white, and despite what Lincoln accomplished in abolishing slavery his attitude towards Natives was pretty discriminatory.
Jackson's administration PAID OFF THE NATIONAL DEBT, and was against ROTTEN CRONY BANKERS. The Trail of Tears was the WORST thing he did, but he did believe in his country, unlike some presidents... And yes Lincoln was the BEST, no doubt there. But you do realize the Emancipation was TWO fold? We all know it was the GREATEST thing a president did, but it was also supposedly done to prevent the south from using those slaves in the Civil War.
Bush Sr.: Read my lips: No new taxes!

People were dying at a 911 a day under trump. The fact that the US economic growth is at the point that it is amazing. That people are hungry and on the streets is an ongoing issue.
didn't Warren Harding die from a heart attack while touring the country? and not a stroke?
Honestly a very interesting list actually. I believe Ronald Reagan is among the worst since his Reaganomics has led to the extreme wealth inequality we have today.
But there was economic growth, and the unemployment rate dropped at record low at the time
