Guided Meditation: Calling on our Inner Bodhisattva
Dharma Talk: Shame, Healing and Transformation
Being at war with ourselves blocks us from evolving our consciousness and living from our hearts. This talk distinguishes between toxic and healthy shame, as well as shame about our individual self and our group identity. We explore how, with self-compassion and courageous honesty, we can respond to negative, painful feelings about ourselves in a way that serves awakening and alignment with our deepest values.

I WANT TO THANK YOU TARA!! You are such a brilliant teacher! Whenever I need help sorting out some of the deeper emotional issues in my life, or just everyday stuff, I listen to you....I listen to you almost everyday now 🤝....Your articulation of shame is amazingly right on with exactly what I am going through, and of course, the healing work is so compassionately and lovingly put by you, it made me cry....
These teachings are the most important things in my life right now, and you don't know how kind and helpful this is for me, and how I so appreciate you and your words❤️‼️ You're doing such a service for the world,...the world would be a different place if everyone were working on their hearts and minds. Cheers and love to you ❤️❗️

Wow, your comment is exactly how I feel, as well. Her service of giving these talks and making them freely accessible to all is something that does actually bring together a community, across space and time. (Something I realize when reading my own sentiments in your comment.) It’s wonderful.
I’ve been coming to terms with my shame on a deeper level of knowing lately... it’s plagued me my whole life, and I’ve always strived to see it more clearly and move beyond it or heal it.
Lately, I’ve been moved to go deeper, still. And Tara’s talks have been so resonant with this. Listening to her talks is like my refuge in the storm, so to speak. But I’m letting myself open up to the teachings, and will ameliorate the storm itself this way.
I hope you’re doing well these 3 months later after your comment. It’s comforting, in a way, to know there are others who are also in this position as I am. But I hope for both of us (any and all of us feeling this way) that we may heal our wounds and find peace within ourselves.

Hello, Do you know how come she is into Buddha but not in the God of our western world, the Christ? It hurts, disappoints and confuses me how everybody ignore and let him down, who does everything for us. Is it only because some churches acted unwise with it? Surely there are some unfitting Buddhist followers too. fine woman, thóugh, good calmness. Hope you don't mind my intrusion.

@@Medietos Buddhism is not technically a religion... it’s a philosophy towards a way of living life; one that emphasizes compassion towards all living beings ...
