Although Hannibal and Napoleon are my favorite military strategists, I must accept that Alexander is the original strategist, but having the greatest mind of the ancient world as a teacher helped him a lot, this fact alone makes me think he had it easier then the other two, and inherited a throne of an already strong kingdom, he was already predisposed to be great and unique. While napoleon and hannibal where pure military genius in my opinion. They are the most inspiring.

I think Ted Bundy has him beat man, as are you really going to say that a man who was charismatic enough to get away with at least 30 murders (on high risk targets), with it most likely being in the hundreds. Who was also charismatic enough to escape jail twice. And was so charismatic that even now, is seen as a sympathetic character, which can be seen by a lot of the comments on his death row interview. So yeah I'd say Bundy has Alexander beat when it comes to being charismatic.

      The Pre-Christian Cross
A vast body of evidence shows that the cross was used centuries before the birth of Christianity. The cross is thought to have originated from the ancient Babylonians before its spread to other parts of the world such as Syria, Egypt, Greek, Latin, India, and Mexico. The pre-Christian cross was used as a religious symbol and as an ornament among the Egyptians, Syrians, Greeks, Persians, Europeans, and in some parts of Africa. There was, therefore, universal use of the pre-Christian cross. In many cases, its use was usually connected to some form of worship.

Although his army was vastly bigger and stronger and he won the battle Alexander the Great was hit by an arrow himself and the beloved horse that he had since a kid was killed in Jhelum Pakistan during the battle (called Battle of Hydaspes).
With this physical and psychological injury, Alexander the Great could not complete the mission he vowed to complete ultimately retreating back towards the West where he died shortly after due to an infection caused by the arrow. He and his army were afraid of what armies ahead further East, as in this battle alone he thought just a small number of untrained local Pakistani farmers but still was hit for the first and last time ever. @Urarettin -D- Lexxar yes, there were a big amounts of victories for persia and Some downfalls in the history ,and just like that the same goes for you,you had victories as such some downfalls, but In this modern time, the history books writers likes us to believe that Our country had greater time in the history than the other when they dont bother to write from the other view points as such as some downfalls which made huge difference on the other side

Alex was to smart for then let alone now. People can’t see past different cultures and force change when realistically we’re all the same and can learn from everyone

Ouch. You know he only adopted other culture’s religious beliefs in order to continuing conquering and didn’t actually like them. This video ignores sooooo many first hand sources citing this.

No one could have kept that empire together as long as Alexander did. There's a reason everyone knows his name. He got what he wanted. Immortal glory.
