The pre-Christian cross was used as a religious symbol and as an ornament among the Egyptians, Syrians, Greeks, Persians, Europeans, and in some parts of Africa. There was, therefore, universal use of the pre-Christian cross. In many cases, its use was usually connected to some form of worship.

The pre-Christian cross was used as a religious symbol and as an ornament among the Egyptians, Syrians, Greeks, Persians, Europeans, and in some parts of Africa. I am not a Greek but I love the story of ALEXANDER THE GREAT.
Well his idol was Achilles xD
Anrlov who was Achilles’s idol?
arya nice corona vid
@@kingassasin6031 Achilles lived in the 13th century BC. Who on earth would be his idol back then? He just knew what he wanted
@fjf sjdnx The kings of Troyan war were legentary. Their names are true, their cities were true (Mycenae, Pylos etc) but people said so many stories and songs about them that it's impossible to say anymore what was real and what wasn't real. That's why they are legentary.
Idiot.
to be honest alexander seems like one of the nicest rulers you could meet in history.
Sweet video! 👍👍
No way, I just finished my essay on him an hour ago
the fbi is always watching
It's actually great to think about how spiteful teenage Alexander was, and he still stayed open-minded, I think he was a very fearful combination oof confidence, wisdom, charisma, and talent. I mean he is also very controversial, obviously, he destroyed many places and killed many people (perse, a group thinks he was a bloodthirsty ruler and the other considers him a hero) but I really think everything in history is very important so he was definitely very important. He is very inspirational, I believe.
Alexander the Great was actually defeated (won the battle but lost the war) against King Porus and his Punjabi farmers in modern-day Pakistan. Although his army was vastly bigger and stronger and he won the battle Alexander the Great was hit by an arrow himself and the beloved horse that he had since a kid was killed in Jhelum Pakistan during the battle (called Battle of Hydaspes).
With this physical and psychological injury, Alexander the Great could not complete the mission he vowed to complete ultimately retreating back towards the West where he died shortly after due to an infection caused by the arrow. He and his army were afraid of what armies ahead further East, as in this battle alone he thought just a small number of untrained local Pakistani farmers but still was hit for the first and last time ever. Check the facts.
@@turiguliano416 And that still does not change the fact that he left a huge footprint in the development of civilization, does it? He was still an important figure, regrdless of if he died from a back injury or not (since there definitely are different theories, his death WAS unclear for the doctors in his time). And if we're adding information that has nothing to do with the original comment, "check the facts", he had a sister named Cleopatra who married their uncle Alexander I.

Absolutely legendary. Pray to be half as brave as he
He was unique.
I've said this for years that he was the most important guy in history.
There wouldn't even be the possibility of Jesus without him.
Because then there would be no Greek Empire..... and then no Roman Empire.
Nowhere for Christianity to spread.
harder for it to spread but im sure it still would've. but yes this is true that the Roman Empire depended heavily on the greeks
It is pretty crazy when you realize that people nowadays worship Jesus, yet Alexander the Great came 350 years before that. If anything people should worship him
Absolutely true!Without the greek language which was the common language at this time christianity wouldn't expand so quickly around the Mediterranean.

@Urarettin -D- Lexxar yes, there were a big amounts of victories for persia and Some downfalls in the history ,and just like that the same goes for you,you had victories as such some downfalls, but In this modern time, the history books writers likes us to believe that Our country had greater time in the history than the other when they dont bother to write from the other view points as such as some downfalls which made huge difference on the other side

Alex was to smart for then let alone now. People can’t see past different cultures and force change when realistically we’re all the same and can learn from everyone
Ouch. You know he only adopted other culture’s religious beliefs in order to continuing conquering and didn’t actually like them. This video ignores sooooo many first hand sources citing this.
