    So Cute!! This is the only braiding hair I use for twist now. It blends with my hair texture so flawlessly.

      Yes. I agree plus it's not heavy. I can wash my wash hair too. When I grease my scalp,my hair shaft is still moisturized once I take the twist dwn. I really like this hair..

    I like the chunky look and always wanted to try it, but when I start sectioning my hair... I end up with smaller twists and it takes forever because I have A LOT of hair! 🙃 I'm doing my hair this weekend and this is giving me some ideas. Also.. Thanks for making your videos straight and to the point! Most videos I skip all the intros and small talk...but I always watch yours from start to finish!

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  Рік тому +2

      Yea I always like to blow dry my hair or add hair to my mini twists/braids thicker. And I can’t stand small talk either!🤣 hope your hair turns out good😘

    Your individual strands you say are thin, but you have very dense hair that makes it look extremely thick. When you said your hair was thin the first thing that came to mind was this girl must be out of her mind. I wish my hair was as dense as yours. Be thankful and great full girl.🙏🙏🙏🙏😊

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  11 місяців тому

      😂i feel like my hair just looked thicker when it’s stretched out or picked out. My hair was verryyy flat when it was relaxed, but thank you!

    I saw this video a while ago but forgot to save it. I’ve been looking for this video over a week because of how u show it in C parts. It’s much easier doing it in C parts opposed to trying to perfect the parts. People seem to make a big deal with perfecting their parts. Not me bc my right arm is still pretty weak after my stroke. Thank you so much for this video. It has helped me immensely.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😂🙏

    I have the same kind of hair. If you get a relaxer-flat, silk press-flat, twists or braids without weave makes my hair look thin

      Thank you!❤️ Have you tried using a gel to slick down your ends? I have to do that sometimes even when using hair similar to my texture.

      You may have to also add more extension hair or make your parts smaller. I have thick hair and it's what I have to do to blend my hair with any extension hair. Happy braiding/twisting!

    It seems as tho u r actually starting your braid from the root with the extension hair off like a cornrow if I’m not mistaken, to really secure it from slipping. I’m I correct. I am studying your technique because I need my start off from the root to be secure as possible. My right side is a bit weaker than my left so I just want to get this right and on point. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Again bravo to you! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✌🏽

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  11 місяців тому

      Yup that’s it! I’m not good at starting it like Senegalese twists. I can grip it best if I start with braid

  • @lareishamiller

    I want to try this for my trip next weekend. Did you deep the ends in hot water? Also, how did you keep them from unraveling or looking loose?

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  Рік тому +2

      I didn’t have to dip the ends. The hair is kinky so the ends stay together just but twirling the ends just like how I’d do twists on my natural hair. The ends never unravel.

  • @loisboateng8293
    @loisboateng8293 Рік тому +2

    Any tips to keep twist from unraveling 👏🏾?

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  Рік тому +2

      This hair is so kinky, it never unravels. If it was looser hair I’d boil the ends

    How many times did you split one hair

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  Рік тому +1

      I split each chunk of hair in half. So I only used a half a piece for each twist

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  Рік тому +1

      Ah ok. I feel like if I did wash it, my ends wouldn’t look bad cause the springy Afro twist hair matches my hair texture so well.

    Does it work with relaxed hair

    • @EriceRacquelle
      @EriceRacquelle  2 роки тому +1

      Yes! You’ll just have to tuck the end of your hair to make it blend. I didn’t have to worry about my hair blending because its basically the same texture as the crochet hair.
