For me, remembering to separate forgiveness from reconciliation with one another, is key to keeping it real. Because of Christ, forgiving our offenders doesn't require their repentance, but reconciliation DOES! 💔🌷

We are entering into the time of the Gospel According to Matthew, Chapter 24. Jesus warned us all about it, in full-on detail and timing. You look around at how people are changing and you can see it right in front of you. Jesus told us what to watch for before He comes to rescue us from the worst of it. Our churches are increasingly like the seven churches in the book of Revelation, they were falling away from Christ. Out of the seven churches, one was ok, and the one at Philadelphia was doing great in their faith, but the rest had fallen away in apostacy. They were rich in money and goods but poor in spirit, worshipped idols, or openly adopted fornication to the point of incorporating it into the religious practices. Sound familiar? We are falling from grace at a breakneck pace. Jesus is coming soon to rescue believing Christians from what is coming next. It will be horrors heaped upon horrors as God takes His grace and protection from evil away. Those unbelievers who reject the salvation and love of Christ will get what they wanted most--a world without God, and a place totally given over to Satan. They will witness the opening of Hell and the spewing forth of ghastly terror. The time for sitting on the fence is over. You have to make a choice, your eternity depends on you choosing the right path. You literally have until your last breath to commit to Jesus Christ and be saved.

Use to be a time in america when we actually regulated morality in this country. Pre 1960's. Like it or not politics is/was biblical in this country. Our foundation was built on Christianity. Our laws are/was based on our religion. The more diverse we become the greater the struggle will become. Shouldn't be freedom of religion..unless its Christian based. No seperation of church and state. Does it make sense to remove your christian morals from your states in a Christian nation..we are so backwards and weak. afraid of what people will think or say about us
As a christian, I disagree. We as a nation should be free to surve ANY God of ANY religion, or lack thereof, with zero persecution from the State. The government should have NO say in what is regulated in terms of which faith.

Loved this brother. We need to be salt. On abortion: blaming mothers only? No mention of men not taking responsibility? That really bothered me. Talk about men’s need to control their desires please. Talk about their need to use contraceptives if they insist on being active talk about societies’ and families’ lack of care for babies born to single mothers. Talk about men needing to step up and be men of God. Talk about valuing our women and teaching our girls that they are precious. That their virginity is precious. Remember the adulterous woman caught in the act who was being stoned, Jesus said who among you is without sin. Note that the man was not being stoned you think Jesus didn’t know that? Do you think that wasn’t part of his mercy to her? And say what you will, if a girl is raped does she have to bear that baby? I don’t condone abortion. But I think there’s a reason it’s not specifically mentioned in the Bible you can say it’s child sacrifice but I’m not convinced I leave it to God to judge.
We need Christian leaders - pastors are you listening? - to stand up and speak out. Starting with to their own congregations. Are they? No, by and large they are NOT. They are acting as if it's business as usual. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. The silence is DEAFENING! This is a dereliction of their duty as shepherds. They are acting more like sheep.

We are entering into the time of the Gospel According to Matthew, Chapter 24. Jesus warned us all about it, in full-on detail and timing. You look around at how people are changing and you can see it right in front of you. Jesus told us what to watch for before He comes to rescue us from the worst of it.
Our churches are increasingly like the seven churches in the book of Revelation, they were falling away from Christ. Out of the seven churches, one was ok, and the one at Philadelphia was doing great in their faith, but the rest had fallen away in apostacy. They were rich in money and goods but poor in spirit, worshipped idols, or openly adopted fornication to the point of incorporating it into the religious practices. Sound familiar?
We are falling from grace at a breakneck pace. Jesus is coming soon to rescue believing Christians from what is coming next. It will be horrors heaped upon horrors as God takes His grace and protection from evil away. Those unbelievers who reject the salvation and love of Christ will get what they wanted most--a world without God, and a place totally given over to Satan. They will witness the opening of Hell and the spewing forth of ghastly terror.
The time for sitting on the fence is over. You have to make a choice, your eternity depends on you choosing the right path. You literally have until your last breath to commit to Jesus Christ and be saved.

What we have learned. Christianity is a personal choice. The organized religion doesn't answer to God. We all do it on an individual basis. Do what you need to do. The world is and of sin. It always has been. Don't bother worrying about man. Man is not God.

Tom gonna half to disagree with you. First I'm a moderate United Methodist and I'm not leaving the denomination. Secondly, I mind my own business and welcome anyone who wants to worship and personally could care less who a private or publicly traded company wants to acknowledge. Moreover, I look at my pastor as a my religious leader and do not look for political advice regarding for whom to cast a vote. Politics have no place in a church. Voting is my civic duty and not my spiritual duty. Imo, when we blend the two it appears to be leaning towards Christian nationalism. Lastly the folk Jesus hung out with, most modern evangelical Christians would cross the street rather than acknowledge their presence.

I agree with several of your points, especially politics having no place in the church. I'm disgusted seeing pastors advocating for candidates from the pulpit, but many on the left seem to think this only happens on the right, while I'd be willing to bet there's at least as much as, if not more of this campaigning from the pulpit on the left as there is on the right. Does "Christian Nationalism" exist only from pastors supporting Trump or is it also for those who support Democrats?
The whole crucifixion was centered around politics. God uses evil leaders as judgement. It's how He worked all through the Word.
God Almighty can not be left out of any aspect of life. He either rules over all or nothing in our lives.
