I use a similar technique for my long, straight fine hair, except I take way smaller sections, curl them in the same manner and clip them to my scalp, otherwise a curl won't set. Once brushed out, they last a very long time in a uniform wave, so easy.

I literally asked for this hairstyle at a hair salon showed them pics and videos and got charged 90$ for styling my hair like regular curls. They couldn’t for the sake of the hair gods do this on me I was upset. I should send them this video. I honestly should have just done my own hair
I am a HMUA and there is a technique for this. It is not your basic curl. I see everywhere other stylist will tell a client they know how to do waves and it does not turn out like this. Biggest pet peeve. Especially for someone's wedding day. I am always saying if you do not know how to do something, someone's wedding day is not a practice run.

Super pretty! Was Wondering what hairspray was used? Flexible type or super hold? I have super thick, corse frizzy hair, so I tend to use oils but then my curls never stay unless I use like Aussie Freeze It lol.. but then it's crunchy and yuck. wish I could do this to my hair!
Yup definitely! Keep the curl intact, hairspray it, and then clip it at the base of hair until it completely cools down and then hair spray lightly again
This is beautiful but I know I wouldn’t be able to imitate it. I’ve tried curling my very thick straight hair with my home curling wand to do a vintage look but it doesn’t hold as well as overnight pillow/foam rollers. Also it’s really hard to do on yourself, rollers are much easier to do on yourself and achieve a good effect imho.

I heard it’s easier to do on thin hair, actually! Teasing may give the volume you need. Try it out, you could definitely pull it off. 🤍🤍🤍
