One country equals one vote, population irrelevant. Besides only southern hemisphere countries should b e protecting the antarctic, northern countries should not be claiming anything.
Antarctica should preserved, that's not to change. On the matter of Claim; that should be decided or given the land on which countries are the most Scientifically advanced given NO country drills the continent for natural resources and only to be used for scientific & tourist purposes. 1. USA 2. U.K. 3. Germany 4. France 5. Japan 6. Australia China's govt is autocratic so they are a threat to let them have anything there. Russia & the Scandinavian countries already has frozen ice lands upwards. Chile & Argentina are bastards who have no shit to do but just complain about what their dad left them with.
Oh, so Chilean and Argentine whaling and sealing activities in the 19th century, taking the responsibility of search and rescue in the area (Shackleton's expedition was rescued by the Chilean Navy), the construction of several research bases (even before the Antarctic Treaty), logistical support for other nation's bases (all the other bases in King George Island rely on Chilean infrastructure), being the closest country, having the only native Antarcticans (Argentine and Chilean citizens have been born there), etc., are all worthless? The ancient Spanish claim is the first legal precedent for Argentine and Chilean claims, but there's way more to it. Those countries have had the most important historical presence in the Antarctic Peninsula. Not to mention that having the most advanced science overall doesn't mean that a country has more scientific presence in Antarctica. Chile is not a powerhouse in R&D, but it does a lot of quality scientific research in Antarctica... but sure, you can completely disregard what the third world countries are doing. Moreover, no country needs sovereignty to conduct scientific research, as the current situation proves, so I don't see why would you assign land based on that. In fact, why would you assign land at all if you want Antarctica to remain just as it is?
As an Englishman whose gas bill is going through the roof I'd like to see the British portion of this landmass used for fracking. Any penguins inconvenienced by this can be rehoused in our wonderful zoos🤔

@Epica Yemontada Humans are useless. They claim what never belonged to them. They kill animals and fellow humans without any reason.
Antarctica should preserved, that's not to change.
On the matter of Claim; that should be decided or given the land on which countries are the most Scientifically advanced given NO country drills the continent for natural resources and only to be used for scientific & tourist purposes.
1. USA
2. U.K.
3. Germany
4. France
5. Japan
6. Australia
China's govt is autocratic so they are a threat to let them have anything there.
In my humble opinion. I believe the USA deserves all of Antarctica. 😛

Fun fact: If Australian claim is to be recognized, it would make Australia 2nd largest nation in the world and least densely populated one, with a population density of only 1 person per sq/km
Watch out Canada!
australia is a barren land only populated along the coast.. if anyone could challenge norway for antarctica it would be new-zealand..
The claim aren't regonized
@@widodoakrom3938 check your grammar.. if any nation could claim antarctica it would be norway.. we reached the south pole first and therefore its ours bitches..
Mongolia got some competition
There should be another another two zeros last in your subscriber count. Great video mate :)
I agree!
It's funny how the Australian Antarctic territory is all most twice the size of western Australia.
It surprises me that you hardly speak of Argentina which together with Chile make geological (not just Chile) and historical claims. Argentina was one of the first countries to have people permanently throughout the year in Antarctica, and there is much more information that could be added.

Se nota mucho que lo escriben desde su punto de vista...demasiado
Likely because of what resources are available in english.
