Emerald, I have thought this many times, and I now say it to you: if you or either of your sisters was my granddaughter, i would be very proud indeed. Thank you for your videos and for your lovely attitude toward hard work, and quality of results.
Emerald, you've come a long way from your humble beginnings of producing these fabulous video's for all of your viewers. It's wonderful to see you creating this world and putting out super content that's not only informational but enjoyable to watch. Keep up the great work!!
Congrats to your Dad (Boss), it takes dedication to start your own business and grow it in the way you planned to. He couldn't have done it though without you and the rest of your family there to get the work done to make it a successful business.
Thanks Emerald I have to say I admire the way you make an effort to speak clearly and succinctly in these videos. You do a great job in making them, and in showing what it takes to run a lumber yard.🙂🌻
The Bosses had better take care of they’re Number 1 and Number 2! I visited two mills in Oregon last summer, a Doug for stud mill and an engineered wood products mill. One was owned by Roseburg Forest Products and the other by Boise Cascade, two big hitters. Bothe mills were managed by two young ladies that were absolutely kickin ass!! Great job girls!! I love watching y’all get’t’done!!
Watching u work is the best therapy and seeing that beautiful dog at the end was the topping on the cake. Love every video love that u guys make and the fact that u are working with your family keeping your fathers dreams alive and going is out of this world. Emerald, you and your sister do such a good job. The Boss is proud, I'm sure. Wish you weren't on the other side of the country. I've got lots of trees, here in Washington.
When I saw those logs I thought just like you no way will you get 18 out of that. You managed to get 21 that's superb and a nice surprise. You don't boards with wane for trailer beds the weather eats them up too fast. Ladies you did a fantastic job as always. Emerald did you change your hair? Thank you.👍👍♥️
You and the dog that was perfect. He or she leaning on you chillin you doing your thing talking the dog eating all the loving you could dish out. Maybe just a little bit spoiled.👍
Emerald, I just loved the pup you were sitting with at the end of the video. It looked so gentle. I liked the video. I hope your dad can continue to improve the business and you and Jade can continue to work there until you're 80 or so (just funnin'). May I say, that although your wardrobe was that of a dedicated lumber yard worker, you makeup was phenomenal.
I myself like your father, already knew that you ladies would produce on the mill more than needed. He knows how skilled y'all are. I never had a doubt. Very beautiful boards. Another job well done.
How great is that! Dad has completely succeeded in having his business 100% family run! That is awesome. Having you put it on UA-cam to share w us truly is icing on the cake. Always so nice to see ya'll in action. Thank you Em for that! See ya on your next post! 👍👌❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
First, love your daily vids. 2nd love your hair pulled back to highlight your eyes. And 3rd, is that your new dog? He/she seems really content just snuggled up against you getting rubs.
Just found your channel a couple weeks ago and these daily ish vlog type videos have quickly become something I look forward to every day when I get home. Thanks for all the work you put in!
You guys are absolutely correct about white oak being the best for trailer decking, as it is very durable. I used to work in excavating a long time ago and when we would clear lots for houses, we would keep the white oak logs. We knew someone with a mill and would have the boards cut 2" thick, just because we were so hard on them. We used them for decking on our trailers that we hauled the larger equipment on such as backhoes, excavators, and dozers. The tracks on the dozers and excavators can tear the crap out of wooden trailer decks, but the white oak boards would usually hold up for at least 2-3 years if not longer.
very good. Had my neck put back together two weeks ago, glad I can watch your lumber yard until I get outside in six weeks. God Bless. Stay safe and keep the videos coming.
I have been running my Lt40 super and EG100 with two helpers cutting southern yellow pine all day. I am 41 and just got into sawmilling and I have never been involved in logging either but I think I will be sawmilling when I check out I wish I would have gotten into it long before now. When I was in high school the ag dept had a woodmizer I don't remember the model number but it didn't have hydraulics we went down in the woods behind the school house and cut down pine trees and milled them into lumber and built a cow barn on the school property. I have wanted a sawmill every since for my own use but never really looked at it as a money making business because I always assumed the on a small scale you wouldn't make any money for the amount of equipment and work you had to do. But I started researching the business about two years ago and discovered the there is all types of niche and specialty products you can produce that are profitable. I am putting in a nyle L200 kiln and have a logosol 4 head planer. I am going to specialize in SYP paneling and siding because that is the primary logs readily available in my area and natural wood paneling seems to be getting popular. I have picked up a lot from just watching ya'll run the mill that has help me figure out how to run mine. Thanks for the videos.
Watching lumber being cut from logs is my new Bob Ross.
Snap! 👍😅😎🏴🇬🇧

The time lapse of the cuts was pretty cool, shows how you work up a log a lot better than just showing a cut
Thanks Emerald I have to say I admire the way you make an effort to speak clearly and succinctly in these videos. You do a great job in making them, and in showing what it takes to run a lumber yard.🙂🌻

This is a great channel. You mill logs, you talk about the process and its not all about selling fancy equipment to people.
