Hey, quick question, does spider-man 2099 not take recoil damage? I was so weirded out when you said at the end 100% and I realized you had suicides and threw a bunch of specials
Oh I see, he has 75% damage resistance if the opponent has true strike or deals true damage. You probably could’ve ate a bunch of combos and almost taken no damage
I just got him in featured and duped, and in my line of R3, he is unique and looks like built for AW because of his damage reduction on True strike/true damage, thanks for vid

This happens so much. Characters get added, people are like " it's trash not enough damage." I'll take utility every day all day over stupid damage. I use my void 10x more than my cgr, for actually difficult fights.
See that's where you're wrong, CGR has utility just like void and one might even say CGR has MORE utility, and I'm that one. Power gain, Armor up, Aptitude, Fury, high crits and high chance to crit, incinerate immune. On top of all that is godly damage, in conclusion, you're a fool.

@@mr.herbert532 When he says difficult fights, he probably means fights with hard nodes, like some nodes where you can't block, or can't dex and stuff like that. CGR can get wrecked in nodes where having a lot of buffs is bad for you. Void doesn't and he can survive in nodes where you need some buffs. Also Void has good debuffs for countering some stuff that he can always activate most of the time

Interesting to see that the 75% damage reduction on spidey99 lets you gain hp from willpower even under suicides.

Mike great showcase and glad you had the stones to fight for the mojo war boss as I know there is a lot of inertia from any bg leader in master to try new things in season. One thing would be I find the best boss rotation to be power start 1, rush to sp2 then sp1 for the three debuffs plus resistance passives, then spam sp2. Resistance passives allow for longer pauses on all debuffs and makes the damage bigger. Really solid though

In my opinion mr. negative is the best mojo counter but Spider-Man 2099 seems to be just as good maybe even better

Spidey99 w/ Anti Venom is a cheat code for every passive power gain fight. Spidey99 by himself is a cheat code for true strike nodes... Is nice to see this dude having some love.

Cool. It seems like he is my type of champion. I really like champs with whom I can control fights. I don't have him above a 4* but I'll definitely be ranking him up if I ever pull a 6*. Especially since I sorely lack any great 6* science champs. I don't even have any r2s at the moment.

Making me jelly with this rank up... S2099 has always been a comic book fav for me and I know I would use him no matter what just because. Such a great vid to show him in because, ya putting him in specific act content is fine to show off but AW is a whole other thing.

Lasse... Pretty sure it's a bug. The pause on heavy attack is not supposed to cost a fury if you punish at the end of a heavy or special attack.

He’s quite underrated but in the right circumstance s99 is amazing.
Sp99 really shines when there is true strike but outside of that he is still middle of the road. Mr. Negative can do this fight quite reliably as well but due to true strike he cant maximize his damage potential so he takes about 40s longer (without suicides). Likewise, Sp99 wouldn't be a top 5 option for mojo in GM gauntlet as he didn't have true strike and had 50 or 60% Phys resistance. The takedown is definitely impressive but much more niche than torch vs mystics or kingpin vs debuff heavy matches.
Kingpin with his synergies can also defeat a Mojo boss extremely easily 😎

Why wouldn't you use to rank up gem? Just in case you have a champion outside of that class that you want to rank up in the near future. By using the rank up you save all the other resources that can potentially be used on a different class right?

Every bit of utility that miles has, you can find on another champ, and the other champ can do it better. Buff immunity is an extremely rare and useful utility in the game, and Spidey99 is the best champ that has it.
The same can be said for s2099 he literally only has power control and there are plenty other chanps that can do it better than him and the amount of content miles has been used for already since his buff is ridiculous could just be me but i havent seen s2099 do anything since release not even on the ccp

Ill try and take you up on the Red Guardian vs Mojo boss. I have taken Mojo bosses with my R3 Red Guardian, might not have been as fast but its just as safe.
Tho if i get Spidey 2099 i will take him up aswell because i love underrated champions, But i also feel so many people are underrating Red Guardian, Including yourself Mike.

I have an r3 red guardian and he doesn’t compare to Spider-Man 2099. The shield taking longer to come back and the fact his debuffs fall off so quickly means you have to stress play the entire fight
@@els179 that should honestly be removed from RG, idk why they felt his shield needs to take longer and longer to come back after it breaks. It's not like it would make him OP if it came back at the base time every time.
@@els179 for aw especially mojo boss sure in general? Imo RG is better. You say debuffs but its only the trauma debuff that might be hard to manage if havent got him s200 but theb again thats only for red number damage on hits. The damage when triggering the trauma on the sp2 is whats juicy + the fact you got an easy slow available on the sp1. Either way s99 more efficient than RG for a mojo war boss? Yes doesnt mean RG cant do it "as easy" just not as fast

I'm considering that myself. Did you test how much more damage he does at max Sig compared to low Sig? On paper it seems like it should be quite substantial
