Personally, if I was someone who struggled for a long time, I’d save my money and use it for things I actually loved and appreciated. Not waste it on things that I thought were “stupid” or “silly”. She meant that compared to 50 000 Birkins and 80.000 Rolexs. That is in fact, affordable, since Louis Vuitton tend not to create things like a 20.000 mini birdcage bag or a 25.000 backpack. Also their price is kind of relative, if the bag is small and not very detailed you're paying for that. If it is a very big or a bag with a lot of small details, you pay for that relatively, per say. It's not very LV to create a 5cmcx5cm 30.000 pillow bag. You will not find those very specific rare and very tacky and very much more expensive things at LV.

You could also go the consignment road, just like Trisha did. All her bags are consignment bags, she has no history with Hermès and wanted the bags instantly. I would not recommend it at all. The bags (as seen in the video) cost 2,4 or even 6 times more than in the original boutique. That’s just stupid to me 🙊

It ruins the resale value for good. My guess is $250k on a strong resale market. Also, selling in that market means splitting the profit with an established resale company. My estimate stays the same. What you paid, isn't what it's worth! Definitely not worth $500k.

Fashion designers are artist and a lot of runway pieces trish owns are meant to be collected like art, not worn, and a lot of them are worth more money over time. Obviously her lifestyle isn't relatable or attainable to the average person but this video is basically an art collector showing off their collection. People who are really into fashion and designers, like me and trish, like this content and would like it if social media never existed.

I was hoping that if I commented my disappointment that it may get traction, or at least encourage others to comment their discontent, and @Insider may take some notice. I understand it’s marketing, this is how channels make their revenue. I just find it sad that this is the subject matter/creator they are choosing to highlight because they have made and continue to make overall really great content, I just personally think this was a questionable choice
