The one and only 3D projection mapping artwork by Limelight that won both the Jury’s and the People’s Choice Award in the history of the contest.
The piece focuses on the interconnectedness of all things, the micro and the macro, the outer and the inner universe. Connecting logical and emotional, individuals and society, art and audience, planet and galaxies, architecture and animation. Even though we often lose touch with the bigger picture, we are all part of a cosmic network. It’s only the false perception of the human mind that inner and outer are separated, causing confusion and misunderstanding in the world sometimes.
The piece is aiming to reopen the dialogue between the internal and external through a cinematic journey from the state of separation to the state of eternal openness. We aimed to draw from contemporary visionary art and architecture, sacred geometry, even physics and chemistry to turn the Palace of Parliament into a vibrant, endlessly beautiful scenery of our symbolic dialogue. Integrating the architectural characteristics of the facade into our artwork was also a key element in the concept, adding extra value to this conversation between artist and audience, the city and its citizens.

Daaaaamnnn! :O you guys are the best!
this is amazing I'm at a lost for words I enjoyed the journey I was lead through
I was there, at the show, and I saw all the projects presented in the competition. Yours was the best by far. You used very well the structure of the building and the background music and sounds were perfectly synchronized with the projections. It really is a fascinating challenge for imagination and inspiration. Both prizes are well deserved. Keep up the amazing otherworldly work!
Thank you for your words. It's always great to read feedbacks from people that feel the soul of the artwork. This is what we're doing this for.
Can you please let me know what's the name of this competition and what it's all about?? This might sound lame Please reply
@@laxmibolbanda6290 Hi, here you go: www.imapp.ro/
@@laxmibolbanda6290 it used to be a competition for projection mapping artists happening every year. After an open call a jury of light festival directors selected 6 artists that could create an artwork which was screened at the event and judged by the jury and the public so 2 prizes were given every time. It has been changed ever since.
Iiiooolooakoiiioioioyoiiooiioooooooooiuoouoi ok oooo
this is simply stunning. i got here from a resolume arena tutorial. i hope one day to be able to put my own big display together using my own musical compositions. as yet i dont even know where to start. and that is always an interesting place to be. thank you for firing my imagination.
How does this have so few views in 8 months?? This is fucking fantastic! So much work and creativity and time involved. Just exquisite
this is unbelievable. how is this even possible
This deserves waaaaay more views! It's incredible!
I am! Just about to share to FB ;)
Unbelievable. One of the best projections I've seen ever.
this was 7 years ago, incredible
Still the Best iMapp Projection Mapping unti now.. for me
totally dope!
Congrats guys, I voted for you! The music is what sealed the deal for me.
Thanks for your vote! Go and listen to some other amazing tracks from AMB here: www.ambmusic.net/
I loved this just beautiful.
Wow! Hey this just got recommended to me, and the whole thing I thought it was another Maxin10sity show that I missed, because I've seen a lot of those guys. But in the end I saw that it's another artist! You guys are great! I am actually so happy, because I WANTED more like the style that Maxin10sity does, interacting with the building, transforming it, and synchronizing it all with a great soundtrack to a finely-tuned experience, and you got it! Subscribed immediately, and boy! do I have many videos to make up for!
Oh my god. This is nuts.
Still think this is the best one. They rendered the whole facade and then animated it.
This is really nice!!!!
This is awesome!
just wow.... excellent job
The absolute best !
I love it !!
Amazing! I cannot understand why everybody is filming with those crappy smartphones such a nice event. They disturb the atmosphere... Pity
Incredible!
A way to visually explore the symphony of my mind
Really very amazing presentations
Back in my day you had to do drugs to see this kind of thing.
TheRealSh1zz4m made me laugh so hard
You still need them to enjoy this
Well times are changing you don't need them any more :)
@@Limelightart needing is relative. with or without them this was spectacular. wouldve loved to have seen it live in either capacity. now to scour the internets for more of your art.
I'm genuinely curious, is it true that you see this kinda shit when high?
Epic .... fuk I've never seen such mapping before .... good job ... too savage
unbelievably stimulating, new brain frequency harmonics got synthesized!
Put your phone away for 5 minutes and give yourself the chance to make the most of an amazing experience as it unfolds in front of your eyes. And allow others to do the same.
That was FACKING EPIC!!!!!... Been really , and I dunno why but, I've been REALLY researching light projection mapping, to the point of losing sleep... For various applications small to large concerts etc... Including half dome projection, just a lot of different shit, this is inspiring...
1 year later, what have you found? i'm in this rabbit whole of researching right now! show me! :)
Amazing :)
Amazing 👍👍👍👍👍
This is stunning! What software do you use to create the visuals?
Stunning
Thanks a million!
I have a question though. What types of illusions do you use other than perspective ? keep up the cool work!
Just incredible. Was wondering if the music was produced especially for the project and if so who produced it?? :)
This is amazing!!! technology aside, how does one even begin conceptualizing this?
Surreal!
Szép! Congratulations!
I wish I could apprentice someone with these skills!
The Beast!!
Coolest light show I have ever seen
So sad i was not home. Amazing guys! Congratulations for the prize!!
I was home but clueless :( It would have been worth the journey to Bucharest to see it. Damn!
Gotta love the cell phone photographers taking pictures with the flash on! lol
What equipment was used? How many projectors? Software?
One word ....wow!
Emelem kalapom, mint Demoscene tag és mint szimpla néző. Vitathatatlan az érdem, hogy első helyezett lett a mű. További sok sikert a nagyvilágban! Üdvözlettel SH@M3N aka Shamen from Faculty/Amiga1200 - Cybernetic Genetics/PC
It was done one mad mapper or on after effect ? Which one you guys prefer?
The Palace of Parliament of Romania
This type of projection it is every year in Bucharest in octomber.
where and when is your next light mapping show?
this is insane
what kind of projectors do you use for large scale projection mapping? I saw you were projecting onto a massive skyscraper in Bangkok would you use the same projectors there?
Off the hook.
Very good
Hello, how can i reach to you guy, you've got an incredible work.
wowzers
Okay, how do we throw a music festival at this location with a massive collab between visual projection artists and electronic musicians.
4:07 best trip
pl share which software used for effects
Is just amazing .... Which projectors were used for the festival? How many projectors?
@@Limelightart Wow that is truly spectacular... And with Panasonic processing even more so. How many discrete video outputs were there?
I wish people would put their phones down and just fully experience something happening right in front of them.
Which projector is being used?
Maxim frate
This is the coolest fking shit ive ever seen
I wish I knew who was on what drugs at this event. Like, blue lights on the backs of the heads for people on gooms, purple lights for the people on Lucy, and pink for those who are candy flippin. Would be fun to document the ratio. For science of course.
What music is this?
which software did you use to make this?
awesome work !!!!
Dr.Oscar Lourenco arena probably
I guess he was referring at 3d software like Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds max, Houdini and so on. That's a question that only the uploader can answer. :)
Caesar resolume.com/ here buddy
resolume doesn't create media. he was probably referring to software like Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds max, Houdini, After Effects, and so on.
God I love Psychedelia.. What a great trip, bless the brilliant artist(s) behind this project!
Dude that was pretty sick. I wonder how many months of work and how many people to get that magic done.
It was made in appr 3 months and about 12 people involved but we haven't worked only on this one at that time and some guys did only short parts and some others did more. So maybe about 6 weeks and 6-8 people focused only on this..
a very exciting sight. tell me how much it costs to create such a project, only according to 3D graphics. if it is not a secret! ? 🤗
You guys did do the visuals for Shpongle shows correct?
nope
Totaly psychedlic ... amazing stuf ... the visual its like your are on DMT, LSD or something ...
What soundtrack is this?!?
what does something like this actually cost to put on please? It would appear to be way beyond 99% of Theatre companies budgets
