Man, you bring US together, with your joy in seeing - and saying - how much you love the way "music brings EVERYBODY together~!" Thanks, we need more like you guys!
You guys are making me so happy with your reaction. I'm white and grew up in the 70's and this is exactly how we rolled back in the day! Every race came together to boogie! I'm 57 and these songs still make me dance. Check out Get Down Tonight by these guys!
I'm 53 and I'm white too. I remember dancing to this, and many other songs. What I really miss is that everyone was there to have a good time and race or nothing mattered. Jail, here's a song for you. WILD CHERRY----PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC. You're going to like it 👍👍.
You guys are GREAT to watch having a good time! I would party with you two anytime! YOU DEFINITELY KNOW GOOD MUSIC WHEN YOU HEAR IT! You can't go wrong with KC & The Sunshine Band. I will watch any video that gets you two going like this. LOVED IT!
Music does bring people together. It's hard to be angry and to hate when your soul is busy getting rocked and you're busy getting jiggy wit it. Music does in fact soothe the savage beast.
“I’m your boogie man” ,”That’s the way I like it” and “Please don’t go” for sure.. please!! Roller skated my butt off to KC & the Sunshine Band! ❤️❤️✌️
KC and the Sunshine Band were a great group. Love all their songs. I still listen to them. I still have the vinyl records. Y'all should listen to more of their music 🎶
Please do more of them! The 1st album I ever bought at age 9 was KC and the Sunshine Band, & I still love them today. Please do Get Down Tonight, Shake Your Booty, That’s the Way I Like It, & I’m Your Boogie Man. This song we just heard was actually Boogie Shoes. Loved watching y’all love it.
So I’m from Miami I actually lived in Hialeah for period of time where KC is from. And let me tell you back in the day man KC was everything if you thought of Miami, you thought of KC! Had a lot of fun growing up listening to him
I'm tellin' ya - you really brought me back! TRUE, music breaks all barriers. When I would tell young 'uns "We had better race relations in the 70' and 80's" IT WAS LARGELY BECAUSE OF MUSIC AND BANDS LIKE THIS! Thank You So Much for bringing this music reaction to The World!
Some suggestions: Shake Shake, Shake, Shake Your Booty. Get Down Tonight. Keep It Comin' Love. That's The Way, (I Like It). I'd Like To Do It. I knew all, but one of those songs, from when I was a kid, but I was listening to some of their songs I hadn't heard, and I haven't found one yet, that doesn't have a sweet groove.
It was in Saturday Night Fever movie and on the album...made them lots of money. And yes my generation in south Florida we all got along.. Cubans, White, Black from all over the world. Great times 💛💛💜💜
Kathy here - first and foremost, I love you two as a couple and the love you SHOW for each other is so obvious. And I loved your reaction to this song and the music I grew up listening to. I might be old - 68 - but my generation had the BEST music that was ever made and can never be replicated. Check out Paul Revier and the Raiders song called Indian Reservation - another song to check out is called Driving me crazy - name of group escapes me, but it is a great song. Think you will like both of these! Have an awesome day and look forward to the next video of yours.
Thats what was so fun about the disco era. Everyone was on the dance floor and just had a good time. It didn't matter who you were...what your preferences were...or if you had a partner to dance with. If the floor had space, you got on it. And even if it didn't, you got out there anyway. lol Fun times!
You were singing, dancing (in your chairs), smiling & laughing. Does it really get better than that? (Oh, & it ALSO gave you an energy boost.) Imagine starting your day with this kind of upbeat, happy music everyday, then continue on listening to more during the day, take care of all chores while these songs are playing in the background & listen to some more at the end of your day when you get back home. Can you imagine the boost to your temperment that that would be? - (never mind to your health & lowering of your stress levels.) Can you imagine how much better you would put up with people & situations that would normally frustrate or upset you? Can you imagine how much better ALL interactions would be if EVERYONE was listening to happy, upbeat music that was entering their soul? I can guarantee you there would be a lot less fights & violence of ALL kinds if that were the case & people would just in general be kinder to each other. I actually do believe that violent crimes increased in society right around the times in the 90s when music started to become more negative, as you didn't have anything to help you deal with bad situations, only music to start you off in a more nasty aggressive mood even before interacting with anyone. I think that you should create your own new playlist with all of this feel-good music that you are learning about & play it often & see what a difference it can make for you - for I guarantee that there will be a positive one if your current music isn't like that. Do what you like of course, this is just a suggestion, but as I said at the beginning, - who DOESN'T want to feel good?
I remember hitting the dance floor and within seconds there would be MANY dancing with you of different races just laughing and loving life. We need this now. Thank you BOTH for your much needed laughter and positive outlook..
This kinda music brought everyone together. So much fun. I'm older than you guys. So Bell bottoms were so popular. You won't catch me in them now lol. Great Reaction!!!!!!
Great reaction guys, I know the feeling, when we go to a dance and answer this feel-good music that's Casey in the Sunshine band all feel good music. :-)

THEY WERE THE "GREATEST " BAND TO DANCE AND LISTEN TO. WAS A HAPPIER TIME. PLUS A SHOUT OUT TO EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE. PLUS KOOL & THE GANG. " THEY MADE! THAT ERA.
I truly "hate" the fact there was a consensus, back in the day, that Disco type music was a bad thing. Madonna even said that the Disco beat is still alive, but labeled as different things. But that label killed/stifled a lot of careers. KC, Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Chic. If music is good, it's just good. Y'all really digging those horns, huh :)
Grew up with this music. Never goes out of style. Always so happy and upbeat when I listen to it, you just can’t be sad and if you know somebody sad. Just sent them this song 😁😁❤️
You know it we grew up with KC and the Sunshine band. I saw KC in the year 2001 at an outdoor event and he could still dance but he tried the run and slide down on his knees and he was slow getting up old boy, he still had pop though lol,
The band took its name from lead vocalist Harry Wayne Casey's last name ('KC') and the 'Sunshine Band' from KC's home state of Florida, the Sunshine State

Do "Rubber Band Man" -- it's not KC and the Sunshine Band, but another great song of that era to dance to. KC and the SB also did "That's the Way I Like It," "Keep It Comin' Love," "I'm Your Boogie Man," and of course, "Shake Your Booty" -- all huge hits back in the day. Good time music, for sure!
If this beat doesn't make you move....you're probably dead.
Love this song.

Y'all really digging those horns, huh :)
My theory on Disco hate, is that, it was from the people, who could not dance!
