This is exactly how my Nana from Mexico made her peppers and how I make them myself. Only she used a paper bag. We didn't have plastic bags back then lol

That is how they do it in Mexican culture too… they put straight over the fire then put in bag to peel… they do poblano peppers that way for the Chile rellenos. ❤

Mine was about 4’9”. Went to mass every day. My grandpa was a tailor. Gaetano the Tailor in Chicago. They are both in heaven now. I wish I had just one more day with them. ❤️Buon Natale!
