Here's Miroslav Tadić & Yvette Holzwarth performing a traditional Balkan folksong "Pajdushka" (arranged for violin and guitar by Miroslav Tadić) on a 1987 Manuel Velazquez classical guitar made with cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

Pajdushko oro is a Macedonian - traditional dance - instrumental composition , usually performed on weddings and other Macedonian celebration events .

Traditional Macedonian dance.
Great performance! But hey, let's stop call this music "Balkan". The Paydushko Horo is a genre that belongs to the Bulgarian folk music. There is no people called "Balkans" therefore "Balkan" music does not exist. Also, of all folk styles from this region only Bulgarian folk music uses odd signatures. Thanks for the attention.
My family from Croatia are musicians and this amazing performance reminds me of the music I heard growing up listening to my family's orchestra called The Royal Balkans.
@@todever Well, they may call their orchestra whatever they like but this music is Bulgarian folk music.
Paydushka reel is played&danced all over Southern Balkan: Macedonia, Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria. This particular 5/8 odd rhythm "paydushka" reel theme comes from Macedonia and is often played on weddings.
