The Rock vs Roman was never going to happen at Mania 40. They had this story planned out since Cody came back to WWE. It was always gonna end with Cody beating Roman. Rock was only brought in to put more heat on the match, while also promoting his match with Roman next year. There was no pivot, y’all just reacted the way they wanted you to. It was a parody on how Vince would always book part timers for important matches at Mania instead of pushing new talent. Anyone who believes otherwise is a mark

When Ronda rousey was talking all that in UFC and she lost she left. When she joined WWE and it didn’t work in her eyes she left. The WWE did amazing with her booking in 2018 and she’s now just lying saying the booking was trash.

One of the things WWE was justifiably criticized for was the overall alliance on legends/part-timers over the wrestlers who constantly work hard day in and day out, trying to reach that brass ring. I have nothing but respect for Dwayne. He’s one of the all-time great, but I really dislike the way he just sweeps in and tries to make everything all about him. At this point, he’s basically Hogan.

I don't think Rock vs Roman needs a title on the line, Roman beating The Rock alone is enough and also I don't think that its the right thing for someone as established as the Rock beating a young star like Cody only to lose it to a part time WWE wrestler like Roman, Cody needs to lose his title to someone who can carry WWE as a full time wrestler after like 290 to about 330 days of being the WWE champion

It's funny how Rock has a reputation for being one of the most giving top guys in the history. He lost three WrestleMania main events in a row and put over guys Brock and Goldberg. I guess his recent string of box office bombs, Young Rock getting cancelled and his venture into spring football not panning out really bruised his ego.
