This was such an encouraging video. I am pregnant with baby number 2 and we are attempting an all natural VBAC. My son will be 6 when new baby is born and we are so excited! Thanks for sharing your story!
@@MeMWonder it was wonderful! I did it at home for 20 hrs. My husband was alone (midwife left me a WK B4 and said I sud go to the hospital for a csec coz it's a risk to go past 40 wks and irresponsible for her to allow me to! I was not even 40 wks then. Well, I had baby 40+1 I think (she's 16months now). I was in the birthing pool, the water go cut off and hubby was putting our other 2 kids to bed and sadly I poohed in the pool a little but cudnt get it coz I was contacting hahaha so i felt like the pool wasn't clean to deliver in and we couldn't refill it coz the water being cut off.... So laboured out of the pool. Found it so hard to get comfortable. Baby's head was right there but in and out. We phoned a midwife from the states who told to my husband to put his fingers in behind the head and pull back and I'm pushing. He got a little faint hahahah he was like ya, no more. Let's go hospital. He was so tired bless him. I was ready to stay home and continue but felt I sud do as he said. Baby was born within minutes of being at the hospital
Wow! Can you pls comment on the kind of activities you did during your pregnancy that you feel contributed to your going into labor spontaneously and delivering naturally? Trying for a vbac in aug. Thank you
I did a ton of walking towards the end of my pregnancy. Probably the last month or so. I went for a super long walk the day I started getting contractions. I bounced on my yoga ball a lot as well. I drank red raspberry leaf tea a lot in my third trimester. I feel like that helped speed up my labor a ton!
Not really too much. I just tried to stayed very positive and not be afraid of rupture. The only things I really did leading up to labor was that I drank red raspberry leaf tea for the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy. And I did a ton of walking! You will do great 💜
@@Bee0826 hi... I don't think she was dilating coz she said that she was completely fine five days before active labour.... The only thing I believe is that she was having a lot of contractions throughout the last month meaning from the time she started the tea...
Thanks for such lovely story dear sister am 3weeks pregnant i think I can make it but I asked doctor said I can't make it unless 3yrs gap and my daughter is just 15month
My kids were only 15 months apart so it's definitely possible. It can be hard to find a supportive provider though. But personally, my doctor was not worried at all even though they were close in age.
My first two births were only 15 months apart. I just had our third baby 3 months ago and there were 34 months between our second and third babies. Both were successful VBAC births!
@@katelynskitchen2689hello plz can u tell me the exit gape, I mean after 15 month of your c section you got pregnant again. How many weeks pregnant you are when U are in 15 month of c section
I had labour pain 8 hours but docter again done C section... So i had not option for Vbac because doc refused for normal delivery due to 2 years gap of my operation but i don't have any regret bcz my kid is now 3 years old☺
It's absolutely possible! I truly think it's a matter of finding a supportive provider. Ours even said we could start trying at 6 months postpartum if we wanted to. She said 2 years was best, but was totally fine with a VBAC with almost 16 months between births!
Even with an epidural it was painful for me not to push! My episiotomy scar had so much pressure on it and it hurt sooooo bad, but they were telling me not to push! Like what?! You can’t tell a lady in labor to not push!
I bet! When they told me not to push yet I just told them I wasn't stopping it if i had the urge to push 😂 They got the doctor in there really fast! They're crazy for saying not to push, it's a natural urge!
