They way you present the game in this format is so enjoyable and fresh from other GOH battles, keep up the grind and passion in making this vids man and I know your chanel will blow up soon! 👏💪
I was sad to not see how the Russians actually fought this battle. They used Zerg tactics, overrunning the Germans with countless tanks, and sometimes even ramming the enemy so other tanks could get around and fire into the flanks and rear. Still, pretty damn good looking video, though.
I can't find evidence for the KV-2 but there is evidence of a wide variety of models of German Panzer IIIs and IVs and StuGs. They dug into their inventory to throw everything at the Soviets, who primarily used T-70s, KV-1s and T-34s (Most of which were Model 41 and 42s). In the video there's also a T-34-57 with the 1942 turret I think, and I can't find any evidence of this being deployed at all. I know a few older 41 model T-34-57s were present at and around Stalingrad but iirc the 57 with the updated turret was functionally a prototype with no production run. I may be mistaken on that though. *Edit for context, the KV-1 saw very little action after Kursk as the battle proven the design to be obsolete and not worth the investment required to update it considering better designs were on the way and stopgaps had already been made. The KV-2 ended production in 41 and the last reported sighting of it in combat was 1942. It was already considered obsolete by early 1941, and would become increasingly irrelevant beyond that as the SU-152 replaced it in its role, and the need for that kind of vehicle became less important until the 1944 and 45, by which time the IS-2 and ISU-152 filled the role many times better than the KV-2 ever did. So the KV-2 was almost certainly not at Kursk. There's no evidence it was there and it wouldn't make sense anyways.
Thanks!

This makes me wanna Gates of Hell Ostfront
Nice vid.. But I think the background music is bit too loud. Thumbs up nonetheless.
No KV-2’s at Kursk ‘43. Kursk ‘41 maybe but not in 1943.
What mod for the view distance/ filter? Great vid!
What game/engine do you use to make these
Hi, the game is called Gates of Hell: Ostfront 😊
Is the Tilt Shift effect a mod for this game?

how are you making these videos?
Some of the vehicles in this battle confuse me KV-2s and stug ausf A’s and panzer 4 F1
it's accurate
