noooo my worst nightmare 😭 disney cruises look so magical but i get vertigo so i probably won’t ever do one 💔 it looks like you guys made the most of it though!! ginger ale + dramamine saves lives
I hadn't ever dealt with motion sickness too much until my first Disney cruise. I was sooooo thankful I took Dramamine with me just in case. However, I didn't go to dinner the first night because I had started feeling sick during the show. I took some Dramamine and laid down for a while and felt better, but missed dinner. The second one I went on, I started taking it before we even left port and was fine even though the swells sound about like they were on your cruise and people (like my Dad) who never get motion sick were getting sick, even cast members. I will say, the non-drowsy Dramamine didn't work for me at all. I took it when I flew to Miami and felt like I was going to be sick the entire first leg of the flight. I took regular Dramamine when we had a layover in Atlanta, and I was fine the rest of the way to Miami. I won't take the non-drowsy again.
I've been working up the courage to book a Disney cruise trip since I'm a WDW girlie, and I think this was the push I needed!! 🤩 (but I also get car sick, so good to know about the dramamine battle)
At the start of the cruise you can go to the dinner res desk and ask to be sat with your party only so it’s more Private, They can sometimes accommodate, so that’s most likely what the other couple did that didn’t show to your table, unless they had res at another restaurant. We have always done this and never had an issue with getting our own table. Loved the vlog! Xx
Good to know!! We ended up LOVING the people we sat with. But good to know for the future, thank you! (The other couple had reservations at a nicer restaurant that first night haha)
we cruised to the Bahamas with Royal Caribbean a few years back and the first night I was super sick too - I think its just a shock to the system when you've never cruised before
First Cruise looks amazing. So happy for you both. I have not been on a cruise, but you made it magical. Do you know if you buy souvenirs on the ship, do they allow you to package up at the end and mail to you like they do at any Disney resort?
I have the exact same hat that Dayton is wearing. To be old it is still in good shape. I would love to do a Disney Cruise one day but knowing I too may get sick, I am a little hesitant. Can't wait to see the rest of the vlogs. As always Madison another awesome vlog!!😊🛳
Did you enter the ship early because you had Disney transportation? We were planning for my parents to drive us but I heard that if you get Disney transport your boarding time is sooner so it may be worth the extra cost. We’re taking our first cruise this March 🎉 I want to maximize every moment and I would hate to get a very late boarding group. Thanks!
The Disney transportation was AMAZING. We arrived, checked in and immediately boarded! There were people in the terminal that looked like they had been there for hours. For the quick boarding alone it was worth it!!
I'm lowkey TERRIFIED for our cruise in March because of the waves/motion sickness😅😭 Did it get better/you acclimated to it more as the cruise went on??
I got acclimated to it! And the waves really were only bad on day 1. But get a motion sickness patch from your doctor before you go to bed safe!! I didnt because I really never struggle with motion sickness, so I was honestly surprised that it got me that bad lol
The movement on the ship was definitely more than normal!!! I found it relaxing but several of my fam members were feeling it🤒 I love the frozen room!! But it’s odd that the outside was Cinderella haha.
Enjoy watching me battle it out with 15 foot waves vs Dramamine 😂💀

@@kccibranI usually only get motion sickness in the car if I’m reading. So I honesty wasn’t expecting the boat to get me like it did 😂

It really is amazing!! Some people who knew they were motion sickness prone got a patch from their doctor before the trip and said it helped so much.

Disney cruise videos make me so emotional
no same. I cried multiple times on the ship
i may or may not have just ordered those jungle cruise ears for my cruise in march!
Yessss!! Ooooh March is coming up quick, have the best time!🫶🏼
I’d love to think that the sea life get their own version of a parade every day ✨

As a Dramamine queen myself, I can confirm it makes you pretty loopy! Love your door it looked so fun❤ Happy New Year!
Dramamine saved me but there’s several vlogs that you can tell I just took some 🫣😂😂

Thank you!!

I don’t think they have a shipping service yet on cruise line. I wish they did because there was a suitcase I really wanted!!

If anything, do a shorter cruise! It’s an amazing experience!
I’m now going to do a little scroll on the DCL site🤣
literally me now that I’m hooked and know there’s so many more ships to sail on 🫣💀

@ ok good to know!! I already have motion sickness meds so I think I'm gonna take them proactively the whole cruise lol

Apparently all the rooms on deck 7 are either frozen or Cinderella, but the whole level is themed Cinderella. It’s very strange hahaha
I wish I was there it looks so pretty and fun!💗
It was amazing!!
11 ft waves took me OUT one time I was on a boat so I can’t imagine how 15 felt! Other than that it looks fun and the boat looks cool.
It was so fun!! I would do it again, the waves were only bad on day 1!
What time did the transfer pick you up to bring you to the ship?
They ended up getting us at 10 am! But it’s different for each resort I think!
Does your camera perform well in low light ?
Disney treasure is the newest ship
Are you seated with the same families for the dinners as well?
Yes! You have the same table assignment the whole cruise
I want to go on a cruise so bad but definitely worried about the sea sickness 😂💀
Just go for it!! Especially with a 4 night cruise you only have one day at sea! The rest of the time you’re docked!
this thumbnail is 🤌🏼 also trigger warning with the epidemic sound songs 😂 but looks like so much fun!!
Even when I take non drowsy Dramamine it knocks me out 🥴
I fought it hard but you can tell in the vlogs everytime in not *quite* all there 😂
Did I hear you say Baby first cruise?
@@bobbieseago5808 “baby’s first cruise” talking about dayton 😂😂
😂❤
