I was there that hot August night. When he hit a clunker and missed a word we just cheered him on. He kept telling us how much he loved playing for us. I've been a player for 40 years and nobody could touch this man on guitar in his prime---nobody
Pausing for a fan to take a pic....... Pretty blue guitar....... Smiles for the audience.....such a giving soul......i think he knows he makes us happy. Of all the talent in the world theres something rare and special in Glen Travis Campbell.
I still see her standing by the Water. Standing there looking out to sea and if she's waiting there for me on the beach where we used to run. A soldiers cry that Glen Campbell brought comfort to tons of lad's enthralled in the mess of of war.
He really did fight it, he seems to be doing really well here, he had already had it for 10 years here, amazing that he could do anything at this stage.
Moving and heartbreaking performance of my favourite Glen Campbell song. Thank you for capturing this performance. I watched the 2012 Documentary I'll Be Me this afternoon on TV and I don't think it was even mentioned.
Dying isn't the bad thing. Did it once and it was actually pleasant, well if you had a good life (all I can speak to). I will tell you once you have that brush with death, you really value the little life we have. I knew it was special before, but damn. Nothing like what I feel now. Don't think about dying. Think about living and enjoy. What a wonderful gift we've been given.

Glen was once in a millennium singer and entertainer. Just pure voice and talent rolled into a single gifted man.

It took 5 years after this to go downhill all the way. And even at the end, he could still play the guitar very well
