I used to really dig this movie, now I think it’s just decent. They should’ve ended the Fast films at Furious 7, which I know a lot of people also say.
33:09 those people can call Commando, Predator, Rambo films etc. "cheesy" all they want, but how about this... I think all comic book movies nowadays are cheesy as hell. And not only that but they're all the same thing 200 times in a row. I can actually tell a difference between Commando and say Rambo 2. What's the difference between Captain Marvel and Princess Marvel or whatever this crap is called.

I think of all the POST Furious 7 follow ups, this was the ONLY one I tolerated in my eyes. I can at least just pretend this is a separate film from the others that has elements of the films in it. Other than this, this franchise should have fucking STOPPED right at Furious 7, that to me was the perfect send off but Vin Diesel wanted more money, so we have Fate Of Furious, F9 where they go to bloody space, and now we have Fast X where he tries to rival Jason Momoa for the spotlight. Originally Vin wanted X’s story to be a trilogy but since clearly NOBODY went to see X, seems like 11 will (HOPEFULLY, and it better be) the last one.
It's way better than Fast 8-10, but that's not much of an accomplishment. While watching this movie I was like " I really wanna watch Tango and Cash right now", which is one of my favourite movies of all time.

Tango & Cash (1989) is a much better version of this film
