Artist that came after 96 are more pop then country . Traditional country music is gone . Sadly you'll never see anyone close to Hank Sr , Merle Haggard , George Jones , Johnny Cash , Randy Travis , Allan Jackson & George Strait again . These types of artists are gone forever and they represented Country Music well. I feel my age when I say this but I remember when Sammy Kershaw came out I today have every single album CD cassette Etc that he's ever put out he is an amazing singer and an amazing man
Artist that came after 96 are more pop then country .
Traditional country music is gone . Sadly you'll never see anyone close to Hank Sr , Merle Haggard , George Jones , Johnny Cash , Randy Travis , Allan Jackson & George Strait again . These types of artists are gone forever and they represented Country Music well.
I know I have left a lot of other great artists out , they aren't forgotten , just trying to express my disappointment in the direction of country today .
Sometimes, we do get what we deserve! Oh well, as they say "hope springs eternal".
Ahh yes the younger days, going to da club AKA beer joint and getting a wife for the night....
Just saw him a couple of weeks ago in Yorktown, Tx. He put on an amazing show
3rd rate romance....low rent rendezvous!!! Nuff said
A great interpretation of a great song. Sammy is an ass-kicker.
Sammy is one of favorites. Love it when the good stuff pops up on the list.
God is she gorgeous!!
Dang so is he not her pick up guy
Sammy is gorgeous too!!
Sammy is gorgeous! Beautiful voice too. The very young actress/model is indeed very beautiful. I love this video. I’m an “older” lady, and have worked hard to look as tasteful as I can as every decade passes. No doubt, women in their 20s are gorgeous. For all of us women, we were too at that age!
"the amazing rhythm aces"
I remember when this song came out. This was when county was good
That's hilarious when she's running to get into the car. Steal the old geezers money then run like hell, LOL
The Video Acting that's done in this SONG/VIDEO is FIRST RATE.. Whoever Directed this video clip is the greatest..
Princess Taboo. It's called marriage today..well. actually divorce for money
pasnthr 62 Every woman doesn't get money in a divorce.. Women aren't living in the 1960's. I live hand to mouth, and know other women that do.. If there's kids in the picture, should be some money. What about women that pay child support, and what about the dead beats? Rich women might get alimony!!
The Video and Song is a Play on Words.. It's how-and-what Country Music is created for and why it's popular by many people around the World.. Country Music is REAL.. Again.. a Play-on-Words.. Story Telling..Many REAL LIFE Happenings are NOT FUNNY.. I'm sure this video is designed to be somewhat Funny..
Hell yes he deserves it
Gotta love Sammy as the Hotel Clerk watching the video for "Queen of my double wide"
Good eye
