What are the TENTS like at a BOY SCOUT Summer Camp?

This is a short little tour of an empty and a filled tent at my Boy Scout Summer Camp.

Long time ago in Boy Scouts, we had the old style tent, no windows, no floor no wood exterior supports. Nicer now.

At least the corners of the tents at your camp are closed. the old ones have cracks in the corners that let all sorts of bugs in.

Those are way nicer than the ones I’ve stayed in. None of them I were in had the wood front porch.

Be prepared to bring duct tape to fix the holes in them and maybe a tarp if it's bad

When I went to summer camp almost the whole troop slept in hammocks and these tents were used as storage/changing

removed the second bed and installed my custom built at home camp bed with solid lay one inch plywood. I put a 10x10 net inside my tent. carpet on the floor and sealed the edges as best i could with painters tape. i put two shower curtains under top of tent to keep water from dripping in. since i have to use c-pap to breath while sleeping i allowed a small light using LED lighting. i also run a mini fan at night.

All the camps I’ve been to have been cool with cameras/phones, heck, some of them even encourage you to take pictures.
