Same ! I think Critics dont see how the show is about Human behaviors, the characters are so well build up. There is so many people Who manage with fear, and thinking only about our ambitions. Specialy those days in Politics.

I've been hooked the moment Elena slapped Zubak harshly but endearingly down the hall. Who doesn't LOVE A FUTURE DICTATOR?! 😂
These 2 characters have an intense,albeit somewhat strange connection.A little bit of love/hate.An odd admiration.And definitely some type of chemistry.Even the husband is feeling threatened.(and he probably should be concerned😯)
