Beautiful. I really love the musicality in some wildcards. Stitch, Gene and River to only quote them.
Stitch and gene is proof that you dont need to be the fastest to get in. clean and simple beats with good structure will do the job

It’s more about what they did in their “simple” beats. Gene uses excellent vocal agility that other beatboxers can’t and has perfect pitch control on lip oscillations. Stitch has a unique sound no one else can do as well as great polyphonic pitch control.

I swear i feel so bad that the judges had such a limited amount of spots and such a big pool of talent. It was probably extremely difficult and not everyone was going to be happy. Big ups to the judges for making the hard decisions

Can't argue with any of these choices, SBX had a hard job to pick from these entries.
2020's wildcards were insane (before the cancellation of GBB) but it's like all beatboxers took the opportunity of lockdowns to just level up through the roof!
While I'm personally rooting for Show-Go (as I always do!) I've got to say River has been one to watch since the 2019 7 to smoke where he aced it, something about his performances then and ever since have gone into some other realm.
Gonna be a classic contest this, good look to all entrants 👍 ESH!
