In today's vlog, I give you a peak into my every-day life working from home as an artist and freelancer. On this day, I had two big things to do:
1. Buy supplies for a magazine photoshoot backdrop I need to paint
2. Play in a symphony orchestra concert that evening
What may be odd about this work day is that I'm not actually getting paid for either of these tasks! The magazine and orchestra are volunteer-based. However, the magazine is giving me good experience (which I can add to my resume), and the orchestra allows me to keep music in my life. Not everything worth doing involves a paycheck. Though I of course I do have many avenues through which I make a living, today just didn't involve those.
