Well, it's not the fastest router by a long shot (try something like the Asus RT-AX11000 or RT-AXE11000 for at least three times the price,...) but when shopping for a new router I must admit I was impressed seeing the specs of this router for the listed price (€135,- in the Netherlands). It's a steal, it has much better specs than a lot of the more expensive competition and it is loaded with features. Also Asus AiMesh is such a cool feature transforming an other Asus router (a new one or your old router) in a mesh node for great wifi coverage in your house. It must be one of the best if not the best choice you can make for a router below $200/€200,- and will be good enough for the fast majority of buyers.
The RT-AXE16000 was just announced at CES 2022. I just got the GS-AX5400 which, spec wise, is similar to this router but is priced at higher MSRP for some reason. That said, I was able to get the former for $160. I agree AiMesh is cool. I have a couple of old Netgear R7000 which I installed Asus-Merlin firmware on and have them on AiMesh for years now with great results. I will be pairing them with the GS-AX5400 when it arrives.

Maganda asus router. Mine was Asus Tuf AX3000 which is lower than your router but the functionalities is the same the only difference is the range. Mas magagamit functions nyan kung mag bridge mode ka para pwede m maaccess outside the network yung router mo at files kung maglalagay ka HDD sa router mo. Tpos wpa3 na yan. And tip lng mas ok iaccess thru gui sa internet browser yang router na yan kasi mas mdmi ka magagawa dun.
Tpos dual wan pa yan so pde ka maglagay ng data router or pocket wifi kung gusto m mag load balancing or kung maputol isp nyo may backup ka pang internet. Haha

It will improve it somehow but it will always depend on the plan you have with your ISP.

got an TUF AX3000 sadly it only runs on WPA2 on mesh set it to WPA3 and it wont be working
That's odd. Must be a firmware issue. Try updating to the latest firmware.

Why is the wireless router name not showing up in my wifi settings?
The cable connection works but the wifi isnt showing up anywhere so i cant do a software installation.
You might have hidden you SSID broadcast. Go to the wifi settings, pick your band (2.4Ghz or 5GHz) and uncheck the "Hide SSID" option.

Ano po experience when playing FPS games using the Wifi-6?
sorry for the late reply. bihira po ako nagka-packet loss in any games ive played (dota 2, csgo, valorant, gta v online, warzone, etc.) been using this for almost 2 yrs since i uploaded this video and i must say, it definitely improved po yung experience ko. never na ako nagka-issue with internet connections when it comes to gaming, surfing, watching netflix, etc. valorant for example, stable ako 24-30ms in hk server, 30-40ms in sg server. globe po isp namin and by far, bias na ako sa globe never ako naka-encounter ng problems with them kahit umuulan unlike other isps.

Thank you kafi , i was planning to purchase asus rt ax86u. When i found out and comparing tuf gaming ax5400 it seems tuf is better. I had problems high latency and packet loss playing valorant with my old router. Thank you Kafi for the review.
I have the GS-AX5400 but the AX86U is better performance wise which is why it's priced higher. It has a 2.5Gbps Multi-Gig port, a true quad-core processor, and Merlin support. I'm hoping the AX5400 routers eventually get Merlin support though.

Unfortunately no. The Asus Strix GS-AX5400, which is similar to this router, can be wall mounted.

I can't decide between ASUS TUF-AX5400 vs Tp-Link Archer AX73. The specification is very similar, but I'm interested in stability and WIFI coverage. Maybe someone can share the experience.
Archer gave me lagging issues while gaming, QoS only seemed to limit the speed and not clear up any lagging while gaming.
