That was such a FUN lesson to watch!! Thank you SO much!! I almost skipped it because the 4 validities in my course are defined as CONTENT, CONCURRENT, CONSTRUCT, and PREDICTIVE. So I was very happy to find out else where that it all correlates and means the same thing! (Content = INTERNAL, Concurrent = EXTERNAL, and Predictive = STATISTICAL) Maybe it's because this is how they are referred to in education? That's the only thing I would add to this video since apparently, there are a bunch of different terms meaning the same thing besides even these!
To add to the thanks, I also wanted to say thank you! Im in a completely unrelated field of science, but these concepts are very much related. You clearly have an absolutely incredible grasp of the scientific method which inspires the heck out of me to try to get anywhere close to your fluency. Science needs more of you:)
First time I realized that underfit/overfit statistical learning concepts are connected to the more broad scientific framework. Thank you very much. Some links to the literature each time you present the definitions would be much appreciated though)
omygod why is this video so under rated??? you are awesome man
I'm taking scientific literacy in psychology online. It's helpful to see someone explain the four big validities, rather than just read in a textbook!
Thank you! You made it so easy to understand. I have a research methods test tomorrow. you just saved me.
2:36 very clear explanation of external validity, thanks!!!

@@QuantPsych Im in nuclear sciences:)
GREAT VIDEO! Thank you for making it entertaining and clear!
Very rich and explicit. Please go slowly. It will help more. Thank you.
Great video! thanks!

Great idea! I think I'll start doing that.
man your are a genius...there are just a few guys I call statistical/machine learning actors....you need cinema in a statistical videoscope : )
LOOOOOVEEEE it :)
Do you have any videos on ABA and validity?
ABA?
you deserve more subscribers.
I know. I should sue UA-cam.
this was so good-- great video
Great!!
Really hope that you have toned down the background music by now. Really detracts from being able to take in the (very good) information.
love this
Thank youu, everything about the video is made in such a clear, interestingand relaxing way, as stats should and could be👍👍
