When did Brock start scrambling? He's always moved around, moving outside to buy time for his receivers to get open and maybe dash for the marker if everyone is shut down. So in that regard, he's always scrambled. Of course no one pays attention to that kind of play, but you're right in that he's never rushed for this many yards before. Brock doesn't have blazing speed, but he's athletic and is scary quick.
And I know @2477daysaweek mentioned it already, but I'll just reinforce what he said. That circus catch to Aiyuk was actually right on the money. The highlight video doesn't show it but Vildor ran into BA and threw the route timing off which is what the flag on that play was. The officials picked it because Brandon made the catch which made the foul a moot point, but it's a spot foul and SF ball at the 5 even if Vildor actually picks it off.

This is one of those the Lions should have won. They had it in the bag but made some poor decisions and a few poor plays. Great season for my Lions. They got some cornerbacks this year.
To throw a ball as a quarterback you have to take chances. Hearing Brock Purdy explaining throwing the ball at different levels and his controlling the level of the ball makes it less of a dangerous throw.
