Fixing a Warped Surface

If you fly in the hobby long enough you will eventually encounter a warped surface. Luckily it is an easy fix and RedwingRC has a helpful video to demonstrate the process.
A few things you will need before getting started:
1.) A Heat Gun
2.) Protective Gloves

I have a solid wood elevon that has about a quarter inch twist (not a bow). Any extra info?

If you have the right colour of covering laying around i would say try to take off the covering carefully and steam the wood of the aileron ontil it is a little soaked, then clamp it on something straight and let it dry, balsa wood will straighten itself that way the same it would bend when it gets wet
