Oh, God !! I was singing Fred Neil's songs in Vancouver (BC) coffeehouses in the late '60s. Was known as the "female Fred Neil." As an Alto vocalist - I was able to pull it off. The least this guy could do would be to play the songs in his register so he he could at least hit the notes.
"I've Got A Secret" (aka "Shake Sugaree") is a song attributed to Elizabeth (Libba) Cotten, best known for writing "Freight Train". Fred Neil may have added some lyrics, and certainly made the vocal his own.
John Herald was a native of Greenwich Village as was John Sebastian and Maria D'Amato Muldaur. a lot of the info here is jumbled and not quite correct but his heart is in the right place.
Love your shirt Ian. I drew it.
Cool

Im a super fan!
Great song!
That's effin beautiful.
love this
But he does have a very good voice. A unique sounding voice like his is better than hitting a perfect note
beautiful
God he’s good!!

Hot damn at least he wipes his nose constantly so he sniffs instead of slams.

If this guy doesn't have the jazz and bluesman's "disease" then I don't know what. He looks like he's dying to fix right there during the interview.
Omg I was thinking the same thing
pity about the army shirt
Why? Were YOU looking to keep us safe, instead? No? Pity.
Well, he's right....he definitely cannot sing as well as Fred Neil. Actually kind of painful to listen to.
He still sings well oh so very well
Terrible singer, major disrespect to Freddie.
