I don't agree with that because at the end of the day I think what would ultimately separate Danny and Syd is the fact that Danny is an onlooker into Syd's world and can't understand what she goes through every day whereas Vaughn does.
He kills, sets people up to be killed, and plans things where people get killed. HIs boss is a backstabber and his ex-leads a terrorist organization. This is relatively polite.
