Exactly. I hit LIKE before I watch her videos. Hitting the thumbs up button is the first thing I do on every Sophie video! I mean. It's Sophie. It is quality. And I can listen to her ALL DAY. I have binge watched her videos (which I have already watched). Each Wednesday and Sunday...i am HERE man!
I have been so many years on youtube and I don’t even know how it comes that I find myself following someone with such a luxurious lifestyle when I cant even afford to buy a1/2of what she does, the only thing that I know is that she is so humble ,serious minded and classy that I can stop watching every single video, sophie you are such a lovely person💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜(exucuse my english as Im not native english speaker)
You're right Sophie.. perfumes can totally bring you back at certain moments in the past..they recall immediately memories..it's a wonderful thing in my opinion😊
Trust me.. we wouldn’t mind a part 2❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love perfumes and watching what others have in their collection!! I would enjoy watching the rest!! Great video!!
Guess I found my "nose twin" 😜. I have exactly the same (like memory) when it comes to perfume or any other scents. I used to use perfume while studying and the same one on the day of my exams😅. I can't imagine having only two bottles of perfume cause my taste changes every day. I would love to see more of your perfume collection! We need part two! Or even three! It's so nice to see how your channel have grown. Love form Poland 😍
If I have a really bad experience while I’m wearing a certain perfume, the likelihood of me wearing it again anytime soon is nil! I most definitely associate scents with experiences.
I was never so much into perfume, after watching this video I am now determined to go on a hunt for great quality fragrance that suits me. You have an amazing ability to describe and inspire. Love your videos!
After watching this, I bought a bottle of Atkinsons Oud Save the Queen - I love oud-based fragrances and the way you described it ... I just couldn't help myself. It arrived a little while ago and all I will say is; it is heaven. Thank you, Sophie, without you I would never have known such a gorgeous scent exists. xx
I've always loved perfumes. As a college student my budget does not allow for an extensive collection so I have two that I use. In the fall/winter I gravitate towards my YSL black opium (during the warmer months it feels too heavy for day use if that makes any sense) and in the summer I like to pair the yardley English lavender spray with their perfumed powder, the mix of the two on my skin makes a really lovely long lasting floral-but-not-to-agressive/kid-ish scent (I am aware that yardley's is by no means luxury, but it's the only floral perfumes I've found and enjoyed).
Jennifer Dally Same. I wear Chanel Gabrielle as an everyday scent but my evening scent in winter is Woman by Ralph Lauren alternated with Black Opium and in Spring Gucci Bloom.
Yes that happens to me too! When I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, and having a really bad flare up, I was wearing Vera Wang Rock Princess at the time. I ended up giving the bottle to my sister because it always brings me back to not so pleasant memories.
I purchased Mac Velvet Teddy after you raved about it in a previous vlog. I love it! That’s why I love your channel. Always sharing the best products with us. Thank you!
I'm the same way about scents, I always smell my perfumes before choosing one, depends how I'm feeling that day I think! Right now I'm in love with Coco Noir, I smelled it in the store a few months ago and I can't get it out of my head - definitely will be buying it eventually
@Sophie: If a perfume becomes discolored, it usually means it expired. Check the expiry date on them, most perfumes have a "36M" indicator, meaning it should be consumed within 36 months from the production date. Once it expires, the chemical composition may change, the smell might change and it may cause skin irritation.
Love many brands of perfume. I do not care for strong perfumes. Love your channel very much and have learned a lot about various things from your videos.
It's because the nerves that pick up scent go straight to the part of your brain that store feelings and memory. This is why scent is one of the most powerful ways to evoke emotion. If you have a scent that you feel like has been ruined by a bad memory, just wear it when you know you'll be creating a good memory, and you can change that feeling! Science is so cool!
We seem to have similar preferences in fragrance. Two I would recommend are : Princess Oud by Creed Lady Vengeance by Juliette has a Gun Thankyou for sharing your favourites with us. Fragrance is so personal.
Love the concept of luxury fragrances and that note about wearing them to bed, damn! That sounds so lovely and I’d never thought of it. Thanks for the tips!
Hi Sophie. Yes, I really enjoyed watching this video. As always, it was very informative and well done. I like to watch your videos at the end of the day with a glass of wine. I find them very relaxing and informative. Thank you. Have a great rest of the week. :)
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is a men's perfume but my favorite of all time. I've smelled it and fell in love and have been wearing it since. I also like Platinum Egoiste from them. Some might think it's strange to wear men's perfume but I just think they fit me and my personality perfectly and I can never get enough of their smell.
Sophie even though our fragrances are not the same style (I like fresh fruity flowery like Chanel Chance eau fraîche, regular Juicy Couture and light rose like Chloe) I still enjoy this video and I totally understand what you mean when you are explaining. Please do a part 2!! A perfume is def an accessory and also emotion like when you wear a perfume depending on how you feel.
I do the same thing when choosing a fragrance for the day! 😂 And smells are attached to memories or periods of my life too, just like certain songs. Ugh I love perfume so much :) Thanks for sharing!
Yes Sophie!! I've always practiced wearing perfume to sleep, you never know if you have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to go somewhere might as well smell good doing it.
I often wear a different perfume on a day to day basis, because I always pick the one that suits my mood. As you said it differs from day to day, and I pick whichever I feel like suits my mood and general feel. I am by no means such a huge collecter as you (I wish!), but I did recently drive across the border to buy the new Kokain perfume that is only available in Germany. I live in Denmark and can easily drive there, did some great shopping while I was there as well. Kokain is not actually a luxury perfume, but it's a promotional item from my all-time favorite band, and since they come from Germany they only sell it there. It smells amazing, I usually don't buy unisex ones but this one I love! It's definitly one of my more rare perfumes! Also I love the lilac blazer, wow!
Hi Sophie! I think you would love the brand "Fragonard". If you ever go to the south of France, you should go visit their place of manufacture that is located in the city of Grasse. Their perfumes smell amazing, are super good quality so they last a long time and you definitely don't smell them everywhere!
Hey Sophie, haven’t talked in a while. Here are the fragrances I currently wear. Since it’s spring I usually wear Hermès Sur Le Nil. It has a bright floral lemony smell. Then when summer hits, I switch to Aqua Di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mirto di Panarea. It’s a bright sunny, orangey smell. Fall and winter I’m using Tom Ford Fuc*ing Fabulous, a little vanilla, tobacco smell but lighter. When I go to Mass I go conservative with Aqua Di Parma Colonia Intensa. It’s just a really nice manly classic smell. Check them out. I’m not a big Oud fan, I find it too strong for me and musk makes me want to throw up.
Love your presentation on this video.....I really enjoy wearing perfume and do so everyday even though I might not be going anywhere. Spraying perfume on before going to sleep, definitely is something I am going to try. Thanks for the tip.
Question for Sophie: I don't know if you've mentioned before, but are there any special products you use for your hair? Oils, shampoo, maybe a special type of hair drier? It always looks so fluffy and soft and fresh. I can never get my ends to behave. - When I saw the title I thought you partenered up with a company and made your own perfumes and my wallet was ready. 😂 I like YSL Black Opium and Versace Dylan Blue, but most recently I've taken to wearing indie perfume oils - all the gourmande fragrances - because I loooooove smelling like a pattiserie ❤ (Arcana Wildcraft, OHWTO, Alchemia Apothecary, Obscurus).
Ahhh, you are so kind and complimentary my friend! 🙏🏽😊 So products I love for hair (and I haven’t changed these in 3 years) are System Professional Luxe Oil shampoo, conditioner and the hair oil. And that’s it! Ooh, and I wash it every 3 days, unless I’ve been to the gym or something, in which I’ll wash every 2nd day. I also sleep in a silk hair turban as it keeps my hair from sticking to my face cream 😋 plus the turbans are proven to extend the time you can go between washes, and they reduce split ends. A real game changer there actually 👌🏽 You are too kind about the perfume line, that’d be amazing 😂 Black Opium is gorgeous 😍😱 so sweet and seductive, I love that one! Hugs to you my friend xx😘😘
Loved this Sophie.....I know what you mean about the Dior perfume changing....I have theDior EDP and despite keeping it in a drawer as I do with all my other perfume, the colour and fragrance has changed. The collection of perfume bottles nestled behind you look fabulous!
Sophie, thank you for the video. Please don’t worry about colour change in perfumes, vanilla based perfumes always change colour to darker whiskey like tone. However if the scent has changed and you don’t like it anymore then it’s off
Serge Luten perfumes are worthy of trying. Not cheap by - but truly unique, long lasting and exceptional quality. A little goes a long way too. Can be bought in Harrods or Harvey Nickolds.
Sophie, I feel like you’d really like or David maybe ‘Kalemat Black’. It’s sold in the Arabian Oud stores that are around London! I always get it from Oxford street 💜
Although I find perfumes extremely fascinating, I'm pretty basic when it comes to the ones I actually use. I bought my first bottle of Flowerbomb around ten years ago and I rarely use anything else, it's the only one I keep rebuying when it's used up. I guess part of it comes down to the fact that I've never been willing to spend much on perfumes. I also really liked Jo Malone's Blue Agava & Cacao, but found out too late that's it's been discontinued so I've run out of it by now. But after seeing this, I feel like going to Harrods when I'm in London next week to give some of these a try and maybe indulge on a nishe perfume.
I laughed so hard at the beginning of this video because I do the smell test too everyday! No wonder I am drawn to you! I love perfumes and have quiet a lux collection! All my chanels are in perfumes for now 😂
Hi Sophie ! Such a nice video. I always spray parfume or parfumed waters on me in the morning as a part of my beauty regimen. I like to smell awesome. You are rigth days are different and the parfumes too because your mood change !
Hi Sophie, I work in the perfume industry at the moment and loved this video! I am also a fan of Oud based fragrances and highly recommend Ombre Nomade by Louis Vuitton (quite new), Santal Royal by Guerlain and Oud Ispahan by Dior in combination with Rose Kabuki by Dior. Xx
Shopie pufume, is my absolute favourite, I can listen to people talk about all day. Please could you do more on your favourites. I've often sprayed a scent on myself as a tester and gone to bed, it has woken me and then I know I just have to purchase it. Love from Australia ❤️
I didn't think that Tom Ford fragrances were really my vibe (the first time I smelt Black Orchid I thought I found out what pepper spray feels like :)) ). That was until I found Velvet Orchid (my one true Tom Ford love), which I find is marvelous for women to wear on a special occasion. I started to like Black Orchid as well, but only on men, on women I find it too much (it's all personal with perfumes I think) Great job, Sophie!😍 You are so elegant and down to earth I felt the need to binge watch your videos. Kisses from a relatively new subscriber!❤
Babahahahahaha that’s hilarious about the pepper spray...hahaha when I smelled Flower Bomb the first time my face twisted up like in the cartoons hahaha - its all about personal preference
Yes FINALLY someone talks about Velvet Teddy. I wore it on my wedding day and it is just autumn in a bottle to me. To be honest, to me it does smell more like honey and tobacco though.
I totally get those points! I too sleep with perfume, mostly because I like hubby to give me a snuggle and it does help me sleep. I’ll spray his in the room when he’s away. My mood definitely can change the way the fragrance smells or makes me feel. You have a beautiful collection. I definitely have to check out Terry Mugler fragrances!
Peek a Booo!!! I have notice in your videos..hidden in the background, a display of flowers by "Cote Noire" have lots of these arrangements in my apartment, they are just Devine. Your videos have become a great source of beauty and pleasure which I greatly enjoy. My favourite perfume for a summer evening is Diorissimo and for the winter I find Hermes "Caleche" the ideal scent. Hermes produces very classy scents. Thank you Sophie for your guidance and suggestions. Saskia (Countess du Pretz)
Wonderful and interesting video . I totally agree with the fact that an exclusive perfume or limited edition is convenient . I hate spraying perfume all the day . 🌸
Great video. Great perspective of perfumes. You are so right when you say that a scent can take you back years into the past. lol I'm the same way. I can't wear Givenchy L'Interdt without it taking me back to 2004.
Great video - if my perfume bottles are not in a dark glass then I stock them in a dark drawer. Unfortunately even a light room can change the smell and colour of a perfume and always ensure caps are securely shut. I've just started collecting niche perfumes, you should have a look at my collection - also just on a side note, unfortunately the Jo Malone Intense does not mean the fragrances are more intense, it's just the more premium line - I used to work for Jo Malone x
wow thats great that my comment inspired this video :-) i also prefer heavier fragrances, especially when they have leather or amber in them. I am very picky about flowery perfumes.
You HAVE to try the Zarkoperfume Molecule no.8!! You speak about the MAC one (which is a total huden gem) as a confidence booster, and the Zarko one is just the same kind! My taste in perfume is quite similar to yours and I bet you’d LOVE that one 😻 I use all three molecule versions from the brand and also one that is called oud and they are just absolutely perfection! Please try them, I think it’s possible to order a «Discovery kit» of all seven perfumes they have 😻
I bought oud save the queen because of your first video talking about it and its in my top 3 perfumes. And i have 200plus perfumes mostly niche ones. Its deep dark magic.
Hello Sophie. I do relate with you ! I rediscovered Les Parfums Lubin, my mother was wearing in the 1950s. I checked on their website and it seems that Lubin is stocked at Fortum and Mason. Love your energy and videos ! Thank you !
Thanks for your recommendations. FYI studies show smell to be a powerful memory activator. Also, I have read that smell is affected by our hormones, how we ourselves smell and detecting odours which may explain why gravitation to certain perfumes will vary from day to day :)
Loved this video, Sophie! I also use perfume before going to bed, after my evening shower. My grand-daughter asked me if I do this because I like to smell nice when I meet the angels during my dreams...I thought that was a beautiful explanation from a 5 yrs old adorable girl.....I find that my taste in perfumes is very similar to yours. I have recently discovered "Sublime de Balkis" by The Different Company. It is a niche perfume, try it and maybe you will love it!!!!
Merlin Monro used to put her favorite perfume too before she went to sleep😌 I have the same association feelings about the perfumes. Especially they can be connected to some events or places I visited previously☺️
The MAC perfumes are SO GOOD? Recently hunted down a new bottle of the creme de nude version. My absolute favorite perfume is Penhaligon The Duchess Rose, so expensive but I need so little and it stays fresh all day long. Lovely video and Im so excited to have found your channel!
Hi again from Alabama. I’m watching your videos in reverse order, so I introduced myself in comments on a later video. You may already know this (had I watched till the end before commenting I’d have seen that you do) but both Dior and Chanel do exclusive lines of fragrances. From Dior I would recommend Oud Isfahan (because you, like me, love Oud) and from Chanel I’d recommend Coromandel. Very oriental, yet very French. I promise you won’t detect your fragrance on someone else. Another outstanding fragrance that is not common is Chantecaille’s Kalimantan. I hope you’ll explore these fragrances.
Great video! Based on some of these perfumes, I think I like similar scents so I will have to go and try them! Have you tried Aerin perfumes? My favourite go to scents are Tangier vanille and Waterlily. Waterlily Sun is a beautiful spring/summer daytime perfume and although the scent fades quicker (I've found this to be the case when using on wrists rather than spritzing on clothes) the bottle lasts a long time! xx
I sleep with Fleurissimo by Creed...heavenly. Also just ordered Armani Privi Pivione ...the name is so long but I got the limited addition. Love your extraordinary vids. 💕
I have 4 purfumes i rotate between, hermes twilly, chanel mademoiselle, marc jacobs dot and one from juicy couturier. Next one im planning to add is chanel noir. I know what you mean about marc jacobs daisy. I LOVED that when i was younger. I would buy it again but my partners family keep buying dot every year for me.
WELL!!! I feel soooooh unsophisticated now ... I have prided myself for YEARS for being loyal to Chanel Coco Madamoiselle, my signature fragrance. Now I feel at best, I'm stuck in my ways, and fearfully, at WORST, a total philistine!!! Time to take stock, methinks! xx
OMG Sophie,I have sprayed perfume in by bedroom before I go to sleep since I was 18,I'm lucky my husband has no sense of smell, which is good, he only wears aftershave that I buy for him,and when it comes to perfume always quality over hight street The l'interdt was made especially for Audrey Hepburn by Mr Givenchy ,I used to wear it in the late 70's,it was then discontinued ,the re issue smells nothing like the original which was heavenly ,fantastic video,Best wishes Julie xxx
Sophie, Givenchy himself created L’enterdit for his friend Audrey Hepburn. They have relaunched it. The ads that she was in for it are amazingly beautiful.
Grems 18 I regularly wear either Bois Blondes or Oolang Infini, but my ABSOLUTE favorites is Vètiver Fatal, which got broken in a move. I was gutted, but as the move resulted in too many real life moments to be able to save, I’ve been unable to replace it. After I get a new bottle, I’ll be picking up Cèdre Atlas and Trèfle Pur. I just finished my little mini of Clèmentine California, which I always used as a travel spray. It’s so much nicer than “smelly old guy in the middle seat”. 🥰 I’ve intentionally been avoiding many of the newer scents (post-blue bottle/metallics) just bc some of them sound too “me” to be left off of the steadily increasing must-have list. I quite enjoy unisex scents and AC does them so beautifully.
Great collection.... top tip from Dame Joan Collins never spray perfume on the front of your neck, the alcohol causes wrinkles!!! Going to London in July so I’m going to check out the Harrods room xxx
Wow, that's so surprising that the Miss Dior discoloured so much only after one year. I had Chopard Wish for about seven years and only then the blue colour slowly began to change to brown. The scent stayed the same though so I kept wearing it!
This Lilac blazer hunnyyyyy!
I liked the video before watching because I know quality content is guaranteed xxx
Yes! Sophie is my favourite UA-camr 🎉
same!!
Great video and I love your taste in perfume! Can't wait to test some of your suggestions!💕
Indeed ! I do that all the videos she is so good :)
Flowerbomb has been my favorite since I was 15 and will continue to forever be my all time favorite

Beautiful collection! Love Jo Malone especially the English Pear & Freesia. Great video as always.
Wearing perfume to bed? I thought I was the only one that did that. I adore drifting off feeling beautiful.

Same. Perfumes I wore on sad days traumatize me even after years.
I was never so much into perfume, after watching this video I am now determined to go on a hunt for great quality fragrance that suits me. You have an amazing ability to describe and inspire. Love your videos!
I hope you enjoy finding your perfect scent Natalia!xx
Flowerbomb gives me so many memories ❤️ I don’t wear it anymore but anytime I get a whiff of it it transports me back to a special time in my life ❤️😊

You have to try amouage, tiziana terenzi and ysl oriental collection . They are really on a top level

Lady Vengeance by Juliette has a Gun

I also have the royal princess oud!

I wore Viva La Juicy in my 20s also. I really love my Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt and my Bond No. 9 Scent of Peace now.
I always put perfume on before bedtime. So relaxing.

Black Opium is gorgeous 😍😱 so sweet and seductive, I love that one! Hugs to you my friend xx😘😘
I have the Jasmin sambac from Jo Malone. It is the perfect dark floral. It actually smells better in the winter than in hot summer!

Sara Daoud Tell me please, what (niche or designer) fragrances does SANTAL ROYAL smell similar to??
You can get Cuir beluga at most Guerlain boutiques. I got mine in Toronto. ❤️
I just started watching your videos and I just fell in love with your videos. 💜
I got it from my grandmother as well.......so sweet to carryon a sweet tradition. I remember as young as 5 her spraying her Chanel 5 on us!🥰
Wonderful and interesting video . I totally agree with the fact that an exclusive perfume or limited edition is convenient . I hate spraying perfume all the day . 🌸
made my day to see this video thanks Sophie your videos always make me smile
Thank you for watching sweet Robyn!😊💖🙏🏽xx
beautiful collection! my favourite is tiffany’s perfume 😍 x
Great video. Great perspective of perfumes. You are so right when you say that a scent can take you back years into the past. lol I'm the same way. I can't wear Givenchy L'Interdt without it taking me back to 2004.
One of my favourite perfumes is Good Girl Gone Bad by Kilian. It’s floral without being sickly sweet 😊
Love your perfume collection. Great video.
Please try them, I think it’s possible to order a «Discovery kit» of all seven perfumes they have 😻
Beautiful colour on you today. You look gorgeous!💕
Loved this! More scent videos pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!!
MAC still has Velvet Teddy I went to look for it after you described it in a previous video.
Please make a video on leather jackets
Good idea!
Thank you !
I’ve been wearing exclusively Diptyque Do Son for eight years. I get so many compliments. Now that I live in London I can actually go to Harrods.
Thanks for your recommendations. FYI studies show smell to be a powerful memory activator. Also, I have read that smell is affected by our hormones, how we ourselves smell and detecting odours which may explain why gravitation to certain perfumes will vary from day to day :)
My favourite bad and boujie girlfriend has uploaded agaaaain!
You are too kind Chanel! 😂😂
Hi Sophie please try MFK Rouge Baccarat 540 and Satin Oud. They are both spectacular.
Merlin Monro used to put her favorite perfume too before she went to sleep😌 I have the same association feelings about the perfumes. Especially they can be connected to some events or places I visited previously☺️
I’ve been obsessed with perfume recently !!! & I love putting on a fragrance before I sleep cuz it makes everything smell like urself ahahha
Lollll “ if you wanna smell hot af” I just love how you said that 😂
I want to buy oud save the queen I got a sample.... I love it thanks for this video you have a good quality perfume collection 👍👍
Wonderful collection video! Definitely recognize some scents, but inspired to check out new ones.
heyy you should try jo malone velvet rose and oud it’s really good and I think it’ll suit you!
Waterlily Sun is a beautiful spring/summer daytime perfume and although the scent fades quicker (I've found this to be the case when using on wrists rather than spritzing on clothes) the bottle lasts a long time! xx
Le Labo Santal 33 is my dream perfume😍it is a unisex scent and it lasts all day long! It is not cheap but I hope I can get one one day 😊xx
I’m a huge perfume addict so this video is a must-see for me!!!
I sleep with Fleurissimo by Creed...heavenly. Also just ordered Armani Privi Pivione ...the name is so long but I got the limited addition. Love your extraordinary vids. 💕
Love it! I wear perfume to bed, too!!! Lately it's the sweet, simple nostalgia of comptoir sud pacifique coco figue...
The lilac blazer suits you so good
Sophie, Givenchy himself created L’enterdit for his friend Audrey Hepburn. They have relaunched it. The ads that she was in for it are amazingly beautiful.
One of my favourites has always been Trish McEvoy Basil Tonic. Sadly it’s been discontinued. I cannot find anything even close.
You should check Atelier Cologne parfums ! They're amazing !
Grems 18 I couldn’t agree more. I ADORE Atelier Cologne. My #1 fragrance house.
@@atheartzero really ?? Wich one do you have ? :)
I’ve intentionally been avoiding many of the newer scents (post-blue bottle/metallics) just bc some of them sound too “me” to be left off of the steadily increasing must-have list. I quite enjoy unisex scents and AC does them so beautifully.
The OGX Bamboo Fibers shampoo and conditioner smells sooo similar to Jo Malone Jasmine Sambac and Marigold!
Great collection.... top tip from Dame Joan Collins never spray perfume on the front of your neck, the alcohol causes wrinkles!!! Going to London in July so I’m going to check out the Harrods room xxx
Hi Sophie, I hope you are doing well! I am wondering if you can list the fragrances & perfumes you talked about in this video? Huge Hugs! 💕Kirsten ❤️
I love viktor & Rolf perfumes but my fav is bonbon. I'm a floral girl all year not a fun of oud scent. Love your channel
Wow, that's so surprising that the Miss Dior discoloured so much only after one year. I had Chopard Wish for about seven years and only then the blue colour slowly began to change to brown. The scent stayed the same though so I kept wearing it!
