Hi Rachel!! Thank you so much for your videos. I'm a 5th-year med student studying in New Zealand, it's always so interesting to see the differences in our curriculum. I'm currently in the last week of my OBGYN run for this year. However, I'm quite keen on exploring cardiology as a speciality! Keep up all the amazing work!
Coming back to watch this, I’m in my 3rd year studying for boards. I’m not a good test taker at all but I want to apply to a competitive residency ahh.. wish me luck 🫡
Thanks Rachel for the great tips! It’s common to see students use at least one book resource for each specialty rotation, so I was wondering if you used and found any helpful.
Did you not use the Anking deck while studying for Step 2/Complex 2?? In the video you kept saying you made your own cards, how many cards were you doing a day??
family medicine or Peds! @mari__trejo Did you do the Uworld "shelf review" questions to prep for shelf exams? Or did you stick to the "step 2 review" tab? Did you use the Anking deck for shelf exam prep at all? Thank you so much for this video! Would love to see a tips video on how to balance it all because I am so tired by the time I come home from clinic 😭 You are my role model! Thanks again!
GI or dermatology! @ne.hah Thank you for such a helpful video! I'm in my 3rd year now and am grateful to have your guidance throughout medical school :)
Congrats on great Step2 result Rach, you deserve every bit of it. 🥳🥳 I wish you could speak if you ever experienced feelings of incompetence while on rotations and how to handle those. I think it could help a lot of us. 🥹
Since I was a little girl, i've always wanted to go into pediatrics. Last year though, i feel in love with OB/GYN 😅. So i'll see how this new year goes and decide, although i still have a few years to make up my mind (in Ecuador, med school is 6 years and i'm gointo to 4th year!). @angie22v
