I’ve loved listening to James Carville since I was a kid. He’s straight to the point and funny as hell. I hope someone in Kamala’s team has a direct line to him, he’s so spot on with the corporate pricing bit, inflation may be declining but voters don’t feel that and it needs to be addressed without dismissing that

@Discodaydreams333 At the end of the day, Kamala Harris is radical. She was the WRONG candidate to select. Can they at least TRY to pick a centrist, jeeze. Obama knows this too. It was a horrible choice.

@@justinedse8435First of all, Obama campaigned and won as very much a progressive, then he turned around and screwed the working people who voted for him as he made a “centrist” decision to bale out the banks so the CEOs could get their bonuses while throwing the victims of predatory mortgages under the bus. He is largely responsible for the rise of Trump and was overall, a terrible president as a result. So who cares what he has to say about it.
I’m tired of the Democratic Party electing centrists who continually let the Corporate overlords off the hook.

How many Presidential elections have you even voted in, that you can speak for "Voters"?
Who in the Democratic party has dismissed Corporate Price Gouging of the Middle Class? Study Wage Disparity before you speak for "voters". Teach your friends and family what that is and how it happened (corp exec pay raises while holding ave salaries lower). Democrats are the party that will raise taxes on those earning $400k and on Corporations while they lower drug costs and many other costs on the Middle Class. Kamala has plenty of experience on this already.

He was brought in late to get Clinton elected after the Jennifer Flowers story broke (mostly to threaten her and lie to the media about the affair). Since then he has lost for every single candidate he worked for: from Gore to Kerry to Hillary (both her failed bid for party nomination in 2008 and her epic "unpredictable" loss in 2016!). In fact, Trump's team slapped his fat mouth back to him so hard in 2016 he is clearly still raging drunk about it nearly a decade on. Crazy old crank. Fun for a windup here and there tho, I'll give you that.

I love the "Ragin' Cajun"! I never miss an episode of his Politicon podcast with Al Hunt which is uploaded to UA-cam each week. Although I did not vote for Kamala Harris in the 2020 primary, she now has my full support. If she chooses Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate, the ticket will have this Pennsylvanian's ENTHUSIASTIC vote!

As a Brit I think I first became aware of James Carville through Bill Hader's brilliant impersonation of him on _Saturday Night Live._ which was whacky, a little bit sinister and featured some great eyebrow acting. I've since discovered that the real Carville is not only just as entertaining, but also blessed with a lot of savvy insight and wisdom. His warning against giddiness is something I have been thinking about all week, even as I have felt the surge of relief that the impasse with Biden was finally resolved. It's amazing to me that America seemed to be in danger of forgetting what a terrible person Donald Trump is, and how spineless those Republicans have been in failing to deal with him. Karmala must and can prosecute that case, but she she also has to offer an alternative that is optimistic _and_ realistic, while being ruthlessly battered by her opponents. That is going to be a real test of her mettle, and we can but hope that she has got what it takes..

Yes! Absolutely! Price gouging. You don’t drop prices this Summer if you’re a cooperation and not make profit. They are still making profit. They were making huger profits before. They were gouging and now consumers aren’t buying and they are probably going to have huge credit interest and not buy even more.
