It's great to see a medication simulation with just oral meds... there are so few of these. While it may seem like a simple tesk, because it is an exam, it is relevant to see even simple tasks to reduce anxiety! Well done... only thing I noticed is not specifically doing the right drug, right patient, right time etc etc at once. I did the checks as you did, in going through the history but did not specifically indicate I was doing the specific checks, and I failed the once.
You can verbalise the 6Rs in medication administration or as you read ALL of the pages on your Implementation paper then you should be able to mention if you are with the right patient, dose, route, etc… without SPECIFICALLY saying them. If that makes sense.
Hi If duration is not given for any drug in implementation chart. Do we need to code it as prescription is incomplete?. And if in prn medication drug given is salbutamol. Can we directly give salbutamol to patient or do we ask do you want to take salbutamol? Patient is having history of asthma Please reply.thanks
hi on implementation for Regular medicine if there is start and finish date given but no duration given should we give or code 6 as incorrect prescription, please reply
It will be your discrepancy or as how you assess the situation. If you think the prescription is correct having the start and end date but no duration, then you can give it if all other safety checks are okay. If you're unsure and you deem it unsafe, then you can use the code for non-administration. It will really depend on the scenario.
Hi po.. dun sa pag document po, need po tlga ilagay yung date at time even naka lagay n po n TODAY at if we sign on the box near the time? Medyo confusing lng po kasi meron iba mga video saying to just write the initials or code+initials if omitted .. I hope you could clarify.. thanks

Thank you for your video ❤
What time should be written for delayed medicine?
Choose from numerical codes 1-10 that suits best your scenario.

If it has at empty box beside date/time/signature then you have to sign them accordingly.
Hi Audrey, can they fail you for not wearing gloves at this station??
Hi, it depends at which point you're not wearing gloves. Wearing PPE as you prepare medication is a best practice which I advise our nurses to do.
God bless you sis
