The first time I listened to Pink Floyd I was 9 years old, that day my love for this band exploded ... today I am 62 years old and the love has remained intact 🤙🤟👍♥️
When I was 5 years old my parents used to listen to this album a lot. That was the first experience I gained when it came to Pink Floyd and I have to admit that it took me many years to be able and mature enough to appreciate the impact it has had on me
I can believe, 30 years passed insane fast, and this is still great!❤ I remember myself wearing the old English military shoes, and having fun with the stollen cigarette listening to "The Division Bell". I thought, maybe will be something more, but PULSE was the sign of the parish...😮
That's a bold statement but all the same, great album from phase 3 Floyd... definitely a bitter sweet melancholic vibe, every album has its place... except maybe unmagumma may have a little dust on top! Pink Floyd para siempre ♾️
This song shows both Gilmour's masterful musicianship and what was lost when Waters bailed on the band. The music is fantastic - a bit of Run Like Hell mixed with some really uplifting keyboards. Simply magical. But lyrically the song is lacking any punch. At best it's generic, at worst it's terrible. Roger - if his ego wasn't so damned oversized - could have penned some amazing lyrics to this and would have done something better with the chorus. But since I appreciate the musicianship more than the lyrics, I always come down on Team Gilmour. And this song is still one that deserves to be cranked up when driving the car.
Anonymous, I come to u with a peaceful submission, i have given every ounce of my blood, sweat, and tears to everyone, n got nothing in return, i should not have to pay a dime for anything, my welder love is getting shit from his realtor about spending his own money, he breaks his back daily at work n does not get his just rewards, can u plz n i beg of u, help us out angel babies ❤
A 30 *YEAR* anniversary 😰 goddamn I feel old AF , I started listening to “FLOYD” when I was about ten years old... superb wouldn’t change it for the world 🏁✌🏼
Indeed lucky you!!! I had to see Dave and Roger apart, still a good deal. (I'll be 44 this month) ... clearly the last time they would pass through Hamilton until my era 99' waters, 16' was the only shot to see Gilmour in Chicago, I was up from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia to visit... leading to my next inquiry 😅...if that Dark Side show was in Hamilton, the only relatives I have left are my moms, and a few minor pieces in chess terms. That is very close to Hamilton/Windsor but on the other side of the strait... Metro Detroit to lake Orion. Just curious if you were from the D or Hamilton grown!😅. Definitely lucky my friend...Pink Floyd para siempre ♾️
David Goodnow from HLN in Jan '94 announcing Floyd's tour that summer, got 10 tickets for the July 5th show. Bought the record the day it arrived in the local record shop.
Wow. 30 years. Awesome concert. Best I ever saw. Still have a concert shirt that I wear on special occasions and get complimented on it despite how faded it is.
Bought the album when I was visiting San Francisco. The cashier on hearing my English accent asked where I was from. His jaw dropped when I pointed at the album and replied “oh a couple of miles from where that photo was taken”
I remember the day the tour started they broadcast the show on the radio and me and my friends drove around town all night listening to it and then went to strawberry records at midnight and bought the album. We went to the show at foxboro stadium, Massachusetts. It was the most amazing show of my life. I'll never forget it
Y'all should b showing My Grizzly mad respect he has a true angel who always has his six ❤ Troy I know why Jake loved u buddy, ur a good family man ❤ Guy who messed up at the foundry, hey I can show u how to weld no problem ❤ Poptart plz know that Jake n Brandon live on in me, Johnny I am so proud of u dude for giving up that needle 💚
Better than A Momentary Lapse of Reason I suppose but that’s damning it with faint praise. And let’s not even get into the lyrics or the writer of lyrics. The best tracks are easily Cluster One and Marooned because they are instrumentals.
Oh and Malikaa u should put a leash on ur husband, he came at me not the other way around, u can keep ur wolf blocc, I know ur sorry but that don't make it right
Ty BG for giving my sister and Lanie Bug n air hug ❤ Oh n George Strait me n my boyfriend have a bet that ur not coming to Tina's. Hopefully he owes me a 1,000. Oh n Jensen not a fan at all. I will c u all at the ears of corn festival in August, come hell or high water I am going
Christopher I know u were part of Tina's surgical team, ty ❤ Ty Dr. Arora. U guys saved a true angel for me, n now I get to meet a Coors light drinking cowboy becuz of it ❤
To Josh Troelle, dude sell that beef jerky, n remember the potato gun, I left it there for a reason, plz buddy ol pal get that hunting license n go fishing again 💚 If there is anything that the short life I lived has taught me, it's that time is valuable, once u lose it u can't get it back, that accident that I had in 2014 led me 2 an angel, plz don't do what I did n fuck it all to hell 💚
