i'll never forget when linus said train whistles are the loneliest sound.
the train has always been a transcendent sight to behold. it's a monster of sound and weight. and often its a free art exhibit with graffiti spattered across various boxcars.
i always remember catching the slower ones and riding the wind before getting spooked and hopping off into the grass. and trying to press pennies on the tracks.
to this day there are few places i'd rather be than the tracks. waiting for the next one.

Until the train came, tearing us away, our broken bodies flung aside and crushed.....unable to scream, unable to breathe. Blinding, red hot pain searing through every fiber of our interconnected yet..so far apart bodies.
That night....
My girlfriend... I never got to hold her again.
She never saw that midnight sky again.
And I'm still here without her.
This earth a place made so much more horrible than it should be.
Without her my life is not worth anything,
But soon I'll be joining her, so don't worry.😔
I'll see that midnight sky once again for the last time...and wait for the train.

To splatter my blood against the tracks and dirt and deliver me to her💕
