I recall a meeting many years ago in 1985 when Pastor Kenneth Hagin dedicated Rhema Church in South Africa, and gave a Prophetic word to Pastor Ray, that his ministry would greatly impact society in SA. I got saved in 1991 on a Sunday night at Rhema on my first visit. It was wonderful and shortly afterwards Pastor Ray was meeting the new members and shook my hand. Rhema Church was the best at all times. I cannot find in Europe or Namibia, from where I'm watching from now on utube this event, another equally spiritual and great church. I'm missing Rhema Bible Church very much. My deepest condolences to the McCauley family. Pastor Ray you are missed already. Thank you Jesus for having received him into your Kingdom. He preached on his heart surgery, that teaching has got me through most difficult times in my life. Ive prayed for medication before taking it, his voice echos in my head always. He shared with us that he held the surgeon's hand, commanded the Holy Spirit to take charge of the surgery and The Lord was faithful to bring him back to life. As GBC we've been blessed to have a grandfather who loved God and honored the calling for us to experience His glory.

If my memory serves me well, it was in 1987 just been born again when Ps Ray called the gathering of saints at Ellis Park Stadium. Apartheid was still reigning. However, all the way from Klerksdorp, under Martin Kuscus leadership, we hackened to his call to fill up the stadium. It was my first experience riding a bus with white people sitting together and sharing everything from a small sweet to fruit, meat, and bread.Looking in the eyes of the Brethren then, they were truly sold out for Christ. That was my highlight of Christianity seeing different nations gathering together and lifting up Jesus Higher Higher with Trevor Simpson at Ellis Park Stadium. I just wonder how Ps Ray defiled the rule of the day but he did truthfully successfully to demonstrate what was known as impposible possible. Pulling all Rainbow nation together to prepare the release of Mandela and freedom for All South Africn. He ran his race wll.

I got saved at Rhema on the 13th Sept 1996 when Ron Kenoly visited Rhema what an awe inspiring night of Praise and Worship it was. Praise be to the Almighty God. I clearly remember the altar call made by Ps Ray McCauley.. The Lord bless his soul.

It was about 3 months ago. I started watching Pastor Ray,and I loved and watched him every Sunday after a true man of God that will forever be a part of my life. Sleep in love, Pastor Ray sadly misses from a loving follower of yours. The last sermon you preach the best is still to come. I will always remember remember.

He has made his mark in the South African faith movement. Growing up in the 80s in the township I knew Bonke and Rhema. I cherish the moments I briefly attended Rhema in 2018/19 and be taught by Pastor Ray. He will always be remembered.We do not mourn him but celebrate his life and transition to glory.❤

13 years 19 and pregnant I got saved at Rhema thru the alter call by pastor ray , I was living at house of compassion their shelter for young pregnant girls ..13 years later as I attended the ownership conference at Rhema hosted by house of treasures ministries , I knew it was prophetic because I was there as saved adult with my daughter serving in that conference

If my memory serves me well, it was in 1987 just been born again when Ps Ray called the gathering of saints at Ellis Park Stadium. Apartheid was still reigning. However, all the way from Klerksdorp, under Martin Kuscus leadership, we hackened to his call to fill up the stadium. It was my first experience riding a bus with white people sitting together and sharing everything from a small sweet to fruit, meat, and bread.Looking in the eyes of the Brethren then, they were truly sold out for Christ. That was my highlight of Christianity seeing different nations gathering together and lifting up Jesus Higher Higher with Trevor Simpson at Ellis Park Stadium. I just wonder how Ps Ray defiled the rule of the day but he did truthfully successfully to demonstrate what was known as impposible possible. Pulling all Rainbow nation together to prepare the release of Mandela and freedom for All South Africn.

Attended Rhema when I stayed in Randburd more than 20 years ago.. I learnt a lot. Josh was a very young man. 💜

Sleep well brother Ray . I remember him in 1983 when I went to Rhema from Malawi after a long trek hitch hiking all the way with the hope of attending Bible school. As our brother Ray sleeps, one day he will rise again for this is our hope and belief.

Met Christ in Grace under Pastor Musa, who is the son to this great man in 1998 , just got to Joburg , and later served and attended in Rhema South under Pastor Tom ( oh what a man of God) , Pastor Ray we take the baiton now and God being our help we will bring souls to the Kingdom in your remembrance. My late grandmother attended Rhema and my son and I went with her on numerous occasions. My grandmother bought us Bibles from Rhema bookstore and we still have it all these later🫶 I also have a book written by pastor Ray and some old school videos of his preaching which I inherited from my grandmother 🫶 may God continue to comfort and strengthen the family and church family 🙏

Deeply saddened to hear of Pastor Ray Mccauleys passing 😢! This man truly inspired me, undoubtedly! It was the way his sermon captivated the audience.. Never seen this in any church…this I will truly miss .
Every church I visited always led me back to Rhema church.. This was something so special about Pastor Ray 😢😢
