I have such an emergency sleeping bag and they are really just for emergency or onetime use. Because it is kind of a metal foil it is good at reflecting heat and really good for water condensation on the inside. Everytime I used the thing over my sleeping bag my bag got really wet during the night. This in fact can be dangerous as well. Just a thing to think about before getting one of those bags. I think it makes most sense to just get a good sleeping bag instead of such gimmicks!

When using a hatchet or axe a little weight helps
Schrade makes a bigger one that's way better. I gave this one to my tiny wife. The scabbard thing sucks. Make a better one from leather if you can.
I actually bought this one at a hunting shop near my place cus it was closing n had amazing deals, it’s surprisingly good. Obviously don’t go cutting whole ass trees down but for a quick day trip in the woods it’s great
I have their 10 inch and 2 inch knife. They're a quarter inch thick! The edges are always inconsistent out of the box, but a course stone and jig to fix it is easy enough.

@@nathanielfortier4023 Fairly well. I just strop mine when it starts to dull. With the width you can do a shallower angle, though I keep mine at 20 degrees. It's as good as my old Gerder folder, but not comparable to a $150+ knife. I use the little one for skinning rabbit and coyote. It's shaving sharp, and only needs a tune up if I hit bone or tough gristle. The big one has held up to some jackassery.
