You two guys are amazing doing part of the Angel Trail...I was feeling dizzy watching you...brought back great memories when we did a helicopter flight into the ranch in Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. Just stunning and looking forward to the rest of your journey....thanx for sharing.
I give you credit for walking as far as you did. Some of the trail looked so steep. It looked so beautiful like a picture. Everytime you showed us the edge I found myself leaning back in my couch.🤣✌️👍
Oh those poor horses & mules. I’d feel too bad being on one for 9 hours, especially coming back up. Seriously watching you both walk on that path, I could feel myself leaning back & to the side away from the edge 🥴 haha! Absolutely stunning… but hoooooo you’re braver than me! 😬
Looks amazing , well done for the hike ! Definitely sparking our interest more to do the route too. The razor bit at end had my 9yr old daughter in hysterics - nicks face 😂
I done the same walk you did done down the Angel trail ...thank you for bringing back those memories...shame you didn't get to watch the sunset its spectacular the shadows it creates.....can't wait for Sunday's vlog 🌟 man is one of my favs
Thank you guys for the videos. I saw the Grand Canyon at age 15, with my mom. She was a traveler and an adventurer! She took me so many places and I LOVE the West. It’s my dream to live there someday w my son who is a Geologist. He educated me on so many things about landscapes and terrain and how it was made! Keep the videos coming and love your funny sayings and expressions! Tina from Mobile, AL. USA
That trail was amazing and I would love to visit there done day. You’ve done such a good job showing us all the amazing scenery Can’t stop laughing though at Nick with that hair trimmer at the end 😂😂😂
Thank you for doing the trail. My knee would never let me do that so living it through you. Lol. Been so stressed with work lately and watching you guys the past few weeks is stress-relief! Thank you! ❤
I love the Grand Canyon... I went for the first time in 2017 for Thanksgiving and the second was two years ago in July which we took the train from Williams... you guys need to put that train on your list - everyone needs to put that train on their list.... I'm going back as soon as I can.... love the vlogs... thanks so much !!! Be well....
In 1998 my sisters came to visit me in Colorado from England and we took a road trip to the North Rim,we rode the mules half way down.....and back up....amazing.
Did it the cowards way went to the bottom by helicopter had a champagne breakfast The enormity of the canyon is mind blowing Thank you for bringing back memories xx
Me and my Wife are doing Vegas and The Grand Canyon for the first time next summer and we are staying at the Yavapai! We watch all your videos and love them, do you have any tips for first timers doing the Vegas - Grand Canyon three week driving trip. Thank you
Isnt the Grand Canyon spectacular. I went there in 2003 but dont recall it being as commercialised as your trip. The layers of rocks and the colours are amazing but you can not grasp how huge it is until you actually see it for yourself. Nick's face when he chopped his hair at the end made me laugh
I am loving your vlogs a pair of genuine guys i was in vegas sept my first time it was amazing brings back memories looking forward to your grand canyon hike we went to the west rim xx
Nick waving that razor and taking a slice off 😂😂😂. Amazing views and well done doing the hike that you did. I am with Leigh, my stomach did loopdiloops and I did not get far down the trail at all. We stayed at the El Tovar on the south rim with great views and were able to see the colors in the canyon change from sunrise to sunset. Cameras just cannot capture the depth and vastness.
Can I thank you both so very much. My uncle always wanted to see the Grand Canyon but he sadly passed away before he got the chance to. I now know what drew him to it. Not sure if I’ll ever get there, but I’ve seen it now. This trip you are doing is just amazing and at times eye opening. Loving every minute of it.
Went many many years ago with the kids, we flew over in a small plane, it was stunning, I'm worn out watching you guys,I don't like heights so this would be a no for me lol
@@TheLodgeGuys fair enough guys but it should be silky smooth. I have one that's all and even on bikes skiing race cars it's silly smooth. Maybe you made a mistake ? It happens. Anyway enjoyed the video
Maybe because I’m so tall, I don’t really have any fear of heights, but I will say that watching you hike made my knees hurt. 😅 The Grand Canyon is one of those places I would really like to visit someday, though I don’t know if it’ll ever happen.

I quite like that Idea of the mule trek to the bottom of the canyon.
Love this thanks for sharing. Wish you could have captured a sunset or sunrise over the canyon I hear it is breathtaking!

Those sheer drops on the trail gave me the collywobbles though 😱!! Super vlog guys ❤️ xx
Older American here. Just wondering how do the parks in the UK compare in regards to infrastructure, signage, trail maintenance etc., visitor centers?
Thanks for cleaning the front window there was a smudge right in the center and I wiped my phone 3 times and it was your window..lol

That Hotel reminds me of Wilderness Lodge at WDW or Hotel Cheyanne in Disneyland Paris. Love them both!

You should consider a stop at Kelly Rock Springs in Ocala, Florida. It's about 45 minutes north of Disney.
Fantastic vlog amazing views, your meals always look delicious xx
You guys have inspired me to take a US road trip, keep up the great work!!

Looks like you didn't have the stabilization on , on the GoPro ?
Enjoying the vlogs

@@TheLodgeGuys fair enough guys but it should be silky smooth. I have one that's all and even on bikes skiing race cars it's silly smooth. Maybe you made a mistake ? It happens. Anyway enjoyed the video
No way was Hypersmooth/stabilisation on, I use a GoPro on track days and it's almost like having a gimbal
Your almost doing the same trip route that we did for our honeymoon. Cannot wait for Meteor Crater and to see what you thought of it. Blew my mind!
You wouldn't get me walking down there for fear of snakes!!!
Love you two love ❤️ your journey 😃
Absolutely beautiful
Love your Marvel top Nick, where did you get it?
💜💜
🤣🤣🤣 Bet they don't do meal deals in the general store 🙈🙈🙈 HOW MUCH 😮😮😮
I would be terrified of being near the edge if I did that walk
Well done guys ❤️❤️
Loving the vlogs, such beautiful scenery, is the 80’s movie Starman by any chance ?
😐😉

Nick’s face at the end of the vlog 😂
Getting Jelly legs just watching you walk down
Starman excellent film
Yes, a classic
Who do you use when you hire a car . We on about doing a road trip next year
DFCH or Virgin or Kayak depends who is the cheapest
Looking into the canyon, from my monitor, made me feel very dizzy.
I feel sorry for the poor donkeys, I know they are used to carry stuff but thats still a hard life
Yes, poor things😭
Have you guys thought about doing a Canada vlog.
now virgin fly there I'm sure it will be on a trip soon
So the tree view didn't move then from last night tree view 😂😂😂
No railings is giving me anxiety 😫
Only Nick could pull off a camera bra and still look stylish! LoL
Nick, did you just “literally” walk a trail at the Grand Canyon?
Literally.... Yes
Great video as always. However, the GoPro view was making my wife and I sick with how jerky it was.
lol it was set to wide too to make sure you really put you in the POV position
When’s the next vlog?
The Grand Canyon is a mile deep, not 5 🤦🏻♂️
Great scenery amazing, love your bra nick 😂
showed off my buzzum nicely don't you think :)
@@TheLodgeGuys 😂😂😂
I feel so sorry for those mules working all their lives and probably get dumped at a kill auction when they can no longer work.
So sad for them
poor mules
Going to the filming location for Star man. Next
yes we have been before many years ago but taking a tour this time
