I grew up poor on a farm in Mineral Wells Tx. We had so much food is was entirely crazy. I didn't know what a Republican or Democrat were, nor any form of government. I still grow food in my Fort Worth yard today. I LOVE THIS GUY.

I'm moving back home to Texas next week and plan to start a garden. What are some of the best things to grow in Dallas?

@@LilliLamour It's pretty late, but basically whatever you like that will take the heat from a late planting. Peppers, Okra, Egg Plants, herbs - tomatoes if already up in a pot, etc. Forget the cold veggies that need to be planted very early. Google some gardening forums for North Texas, you will save a lot of time.
