@@braddriscoll6410 Its a great car. No squeaks or rattles and 100 percent reliable however if you're buying a car with some kms on the clock it will depend on how the previous owner treated the car? Based on my experience, I would definitely buy another kia.
@@zooks3894 its only 67000 on the clock, diesel so not high and it was owned by an older(54) lady, ive got a 3.5 litre camry and the fuel bills are killing me🤣
@@zooks3894 geez, thats worse than what im getting now,i do about 8 if i drive normally, they reckon its 6.5 in the diesel but guess ill see in test drive, thanks for the advice👌
I like that the rear middle seat belt retracts and hides in the roof. The rear middle seat is rarely used (for me never) so it looks cleaner. I agree with your opinion on the steering wheel reflecting sunlight, not ideal for an Australian sun.
Drove a 'pov pack' trim for a while - actually had everything I needed. Bug looks aside, was actually really impressed with it. Petrol was thirsty around town with a heavy right foot but was BEYOND COMFY to tear around in & navigate through traffic/over speed bumps etc.
Great review, I like the tweaks that Kia have done but I'd agree with you about the shiny black plastics on the steering wheel but noticed on the door arms as well which is a great magnet at showing dust. I would definitely consider this as I was looking at the Peugeot 3008. For me this offers better value for money considering the amount of equipment this comes with though it would have to be the GT Line. It is a bit of a marmite car in regards to it looks but its grown on me & the face lift 2018 version looks even better.
Silent Refusal the Land Cruiser 200 is sold in Australia. It's full-size, while things like the Toyota Highlander are definitely mid-size. It's definitely a compact car, even if there aren't many full-size SUVs in Australia.
upload2014 this is the ( face lift ) , some obvious changes happened if you look closely to headlights and taillight , if it's released in August or September then it's not 2018 , it's 2019 .
Poverty pack not so poverty anymore? Its interesting they used the same style of wheels over all 4 models. No doubt the GT gets better tyres as well? Good job Kia!
I own this car and have never had a problem with the sun reflecting on the steering wheel. I live in Australia. This is a great car.
How is the car still going now after 4 years? Im looking to buy one with 67000kays on the clock,is the build quality up to scratch?

@@braddriscoll6410 I dont find this car very economical. Mine is petrol and I average 11.7. Diesel will be better tho.

Big fan of KIA. They make great cars at great prices.

Absolutely love this car looks so different unique from all the others cannot wait to get my hands on one definitely would like the SI Premium diesel
Looks a buck tooth newborn
You are clearly a moron with no taste, no style, no sense of looks and no clue about cars or car makes.
Such a great looking SUV! Love it!
Blake Swan gonna get one
Wear your Polaroid sunglasses will eliminate any sun glare back into the cabin interior!
Great review
Great SUV vehicle.
I am trying to decide between this and the 2019 outlander. Only thing with sportage is the look seems like it will age quicker.
It has emergency breaking
The kia
Are you offered safety aids in Australian driving schools?
that’s not an 18, you can’t get led signals on an 18

It's not midsize! It's compact.
Joshua Howie in US it is compact, in Australia it would be in midsize SUVs

The Hyundai Kona, Mazda CX-3 etc are compacts. The Sportage is a mid-size. Love my GT Line

wait , this is 2019 the face lift ! Isn't it?
It is ;)
yes
It's a 2018/2019. 2018 because it's available this August. I have the 2018 but purchased it in August of last year.

This Facelift already launch?
I love this car. And willing to buy this. So handsome car.
This or the CX-5?
This
Sportage, better looks, better entertainment system.
But what about the engine? Isn’t it under powered?
Not really no. Even the 2.0l 115kw or 153 hp engine still goes pretty well.
But trust the engine looks small when u open the hood its so funny
again that LED headlight is only available for GT line FFS get lost
i think the refresh facelift looks even better than its predecessor ;) ...
This or the 2.2D mazda cx5?
The Interior reminds me of a Mitsubishi Outlander
I’ll buy this over any european cars... why? Design, features, good quality n peace of mind in mainteance..... n cheap!!!!
2019
Kia Sportage is first SUV in the world
amazing...

😂I'm thinking few people found it considering the comments...move along😊
I like it but it looks like it's got braces on.
Ricky K loooks like so :))
they look wierd in 'red'? wierd red,,,,, much cooler in black
So porches maccan driver just got ripp off, could of save your self extra $50k🤑
I know right
But why can’t they give a spare tire or a jack,,,,another 200 dollars,,,,,I like Kia but they need to give spare tire and jack,,,,,I’m Kia fan,,,,
My Mazda has all these safety features n they're more of a nuisance than helpful
They're pointless if you're a competent and aware driver.
Exactly, just be a competent driver and you don’t need all that crap
wow wow wow great car 💗
Don't open the boot mate or show the seats in the back... Terrible uninformative talk.
I’m only watching this because my nan owns one 😜😝
cool nan ,,hope its black if not makeher trade it
Headlight cluster looks awful.
SportAgggee lolol
New generation SUV 😁😂
Give me that car for free :)
The most vile-looking, hideous car ever produced in the history of the motor car. Only a moron would buy this.
