I went from a Samsung S10 to a Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and I was almost shocked how much better the Xiaomi is. In my opinion it beats every Samsung on the market.

I went with Xiaomi from the Mix but it wasn't until the Mi8 that i was happy with it as an all rounder. Currently on the 10 Pro. Would love the Ultra but use the speakers more than camera so don't want to give up the true dual speaker setup!

I got annoyed that I got the Exynos chip which struggled with gaming and battery life and I did not want to reward a company who sells two very different phones under the same name for the same price. Then I always struggled a bit with Samsung's photo processing and I never liked the high amounts of noise reduction and high radius sharpening. The Mi 9 impressed me and Miui seemed to be better than iys image so I thought I might as well go for the ultra and its seemingly great cameras. Plus I could get it quite cheap. BTW the speakers are the only really disappointing thing about the Ultra. They frankly suck and the S10s are so much better.

Can the Mi 10 Ultra switch between zoom modes while it's recording? I think it's important because when you're recording action the subject might come closer and move further away. My Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (CC9) doesn't allow zoom switching, but my Note 10+ does. I recorded a dog going on a rampage in a park once, being able to switch zoom modes made all the difference

Mi 10, Samsung heavily brightens images for absolutely no reason. I've always hated their camera app for that. I'm sure it wouldn't do that with another app, but either way, the Mi 10's photos have more detail.

A big thing with Samsung and videos at night is to turn the stabilization off. I even experience that jerky footage on my S9, once stabilization is off it's smooth ;)

Mi is the winner for me except for video stabiisation. S20 has a better stabilisation on video but night shots re awful. I tested iPhone 12 Pro and S20+. iPhone 12 Pro has really worse than S20+ on night shots. U can just see shadows, blur and many many noise on iPhone 12s night shots while u see people and objects on S20+s night shots.
Since I held my cellphone I have used Samsung, because it is more quality, if I see from this Vidio the camera is the same as Samsung is more natural with the xiomi color, I just win the color, I like Samsung, there is no trick, the camera is more natural, only xiomi is asking at the price ...

WOW. The Mi 10 Ultra photos and videos just make the S20 look awful by comparison! The difference is huge, especially in the night shots.
