Can the Mi 10 Ultra switch between zoom modes while it's recording?
I think it's important because when you're recording action the subject might come closer and move further away. My Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (CC9) doesn't allow zoom switching, but my Note 10+ does. I recorded a dog going on a rampage in a park once, being able to switch zoom modes made all the difference

WOW. The Mi 10 Ultra photos and videos just make the S20 look awful by comparison! The difference is huge, especially in the night shots.
I went from a Samsung S10 to a Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and I was almost shocked how much better the Xiaomi is. In my opinion it beats every Samsung on the market.
@@johnwasgeht5263 why the change? Just curious. Most people don't jump from a well known brand to a lesser known one.
I went with Xiaomi from the Mix but it wasn't until the Mi8 that i was happy with it as an all rounder. Currently on the 10 Pro. Would love the Ultra but use the speakers more than camera so don't want to give up the true dual speaker setup!
@@sconcepx I think it's mainly two reasons. I got annoyed that I got the Exynos chip which struggled with gaming and battery life and I did not want to reward a company who sells two very different phones under the same name for the same price. Then I always struggled a bit with Samsung's photo processing and I never liked the high amounts of noise reduction and high radius sharpening. The Mi 9 impressed me and Miui seemed to be better than iys image so I thought I might as well go for the ultra and its seemingly great cameras. Plus I could get it quite cheap.
BTW the speakers are the only really disappointing thing about the Ultra. They frankly suck and the S10s are so much better.

Только если ночная съёмка и не все, на exynos почему-то меньше шумов и более четче картина чем на snapdragon, это странно, у S20 более натуральные цвета, сравнение интересное но победителя тут нет. 🤷
Mi 10u будет лучше в плане приближения и по ночному режиму
Однако стоит сравнить S20 Ultra, так как базовая не имеет 10х гибридного приближения

Xiaomi mi10 is waaay better in everything except stabilization.
There's something wrong with his s20. I have an s20(exynos) and it takes much better videos and photos than the one this guy has. I was shocked at how bad the s20 looked in this video.
@@VibezVideo No that's not my point, even if you just compare the s20 in the video mine is MUCH better. It could also be that he hasn't updated the s20. Mine was pretty bad at launch but it's gotten miles better in the past few months.

A big thing with Samsung and videos at night is to turn the stabilization off. I even experience that jerky footage on my S9, once stabilization is off it's smooth ;)
I can hardly believe that Xiaomi, which is actually a new brand, can outperform the more senior and more expensive Samsung

Mi 10, Samsung heavily brightens images for absolutely no reason. I've always hated their camera app for that. I'm sure it wouldn't do that with another app, but either way, the Mi 10's photos have more detail.
