Fanatics has the worlds largest quantity of non-game worn jersey's. Watch how many patch cards they pump out to get rid of back inventory. I still would rather see Panini, Fanatics, and Upper Deck as well as other minor brands be able to have access to licensed cards instead of this monopolistic garbage we currently have. Fanatics will own MLB, NFL and NBA exclusively...think about that as they removed distributors and make rules for hobby shops and breakers. This is the very definition of a monopoly and will be horrible for the hobby.

I miss the competition of the 90s. Fleer, upper deck, skybox, donruss, pacific....so much more variety back then and somehow less cards produced between all those companies than just panini and topps nowadays with all the crap products they produce.
Good and about time! During my entire childhood, Panini was always the low-end sticker company. They can now return to their true business model!
I remember back in the 80's and 90's the sticker books said panini on the back.
Those panini soccer stickers from 70s and 80s are very much collectible, and in some cases valuable. Maradona, Gerd muller , etc are pretty expensive.

Haven't bought a hobby case of ANYTHING in about a decade. Last one was Topps Chrome football. Good riddance to these fools and their decade long redemption process, screwing over collectors, price fixing, 'auction' rigging, distributor fluffing, price gouging and complete lack of customer service. Totally should have had the background be that guy giving a peace sign over a grave with his buddy laughing. Still probably won't be buying any of the incoming overpriced boxes, but eagerly await the return of real high-end cards with real game worn jerseys and on card autographs.
Panini is done.yes!! The only thing I don’t agree with is if fanatics raises the prices on product. If they raise the prices on product let it rot on the shelves. People are paying 35 dollars a blaster now a days, how much more money do they want. Not to mention taxes 10.25%. Great show guys. I love watching ✌️😎

Poo-nini had this coming. Not redeeming redemption, or sending lower quality redemption to replace the original ones. I could care less. Most of their stuff is overpriced, like Fanatics. I'll stick to junk wax and vintage.

How much Andre Reed and Charlie Joiner did they make? But at the same time, who would you like specifically that hasn't been featured in a Panini product that doesn't play anymore? Zero mention of this today on YT or in comments but Panini did not comply with the NFLPA’s attys orders. They moved forward with another release at 12pm EST. Additionally no product has been pulled from shelves anywhere. They do not appear to be doing anything until a judge orders them to do so.

Everybody's freaking out about prizm disappearing and national treasures... Let's be excited for the next thing to come out the next big thing. And for me, I'm more excited that I might actually have a company that tries. I ain't shed no tears over panini. I am bummed I probably won't get anything as far as my redemptions go. Hiring my elementary school daughters to design a 2023 NFL set of cards - parameters I gave them; no image or likeness of NFL current rookies, no NFL logos, no game or player worn patches. I think we are good on all fronts. Wow, our new product could compete with Panini! 🤥😂🤯

Thank God is all I can say that after 14 years of waiting on some of my redemptions they recently sent me like 12 amazing cards to wipe the slate clean after hundreds of emails and calls and promises so atleast I don't have to worry anymore. Other than all my points that I have with absolutely nothing to get for them

I do agree with the final statement but you guys don’t think fanatics will do the same? They’re monopolizing this hobby/business they will do whatever and however they want, and guaranteed it won’t be for the consumers delight.
They will do what Activision did with blizzard and what panini already did with cards. Fanatics won't save anything. It will be the same or worse.

I doubt it. Odds are the cards were never even produced. If people waiting get anything back, itll be a random assortment of worthless cards from paninis backlog. It's what fleer did when they went under. I was waiting for a robin yount auto redemption and got a package of 5 nobodys worth like a combined buck.

The news finally got me to request replacements for my redemptions I’ve had unfulfilled from 2015 and 2016 basketball product. So there’s my positive of this since I think Fanatics will do something similar for basketball, especially if they can find a way to get in on the Wemby rookie year and use NBA logos.

Think what we are seeing is a continuation of the downward spiral in sports cards. Hard to believe how much the pumper/dumpers must be losing.
Will this effect the sales of product? Will we see product be discounted in stores or sold as regular

Speaking for those that went through the same with fleer back in the day when they were going under, you'll be lucky to get anything. I had a robin yount auto redemption that couldnt be redeemed as the card was never produced. After about 6 months I finally got a package from fleer with 4 or 5 cards(of nobodys) that wouldnt be worth a buck. My guess is you guys get ANYTHING back, it'll be a package of a few random cards from their backlog.
Fanatics should just buy the names of Donruss and fleer and release cards using the company names. They would control all cards as they want to and have, what seems, three different lines.
Panini Owned Donruss, so I’m sure Fanatics will have no problem scooping up those brands!

Collectors understand this. Panini treated us like shit for years because they could. They had basketball and football exclusive licenses. They were the only game in town. Ask yourself this. Do you really think Fanatics will treat us any different? They are now the only game in town. The shit treatment has just moved from Panini to Fanatics. Now, instead of $1000/box of Donruss. We will have $1000/box of Topps. $3000/box for Topps Chrome.

Someone fact check me but NFLPA only had control of the NFLPA logo. All name image and likenesses are controlled by the NFL. If the NFL hasn’t pulled their license, panini will still be printing these cards and they will be able to use NIL because NFL controls that not the NFLPA. This court battle looks like the battle ground over NIL contracts and the control NFL has over the players. Athletes are so eager to play in the NFL that they sign deals they don’t fully understand. They sign away their NIL to the team and NFL. It’s a deeper fight and I’m pretty sure no one cares if the NFLPA logo is on cards.

I have a suspicion that since all the hobby influencers and channels posted the same post about this at the same time, fanatics in some way is directing their actions and voice. It’s almost like they are pushing everyone to speak about this to further lower panini’s public perception
I think the news is so big on its own there isn’t a reason for fanatics to get involved. Not everything that happens doesn’t have a conspiracy behind it.
